Today on The Dwelling Place, Al Pittman begins our final study in Galatians and shows us how we are to respond when a fellow believer falls into sin. There’s a tendency to want to shake our finger in disgust, but as we see now, it is at that time when the Bible calls us to restore the individual with gentleness, and use practical love.

We continue making our way through the New Testament book of Galatians. And in chapter five we’re told to stand strong in the freedom we have in Christ. Then we’re warned there are some things that can rob us of our freedom. We’ll also be assured of the difference grace truly makes and be encouraged to hold on to it by faith.

One of the reasons Jesus was born was to make peace between a perfect God, and sinful man. Our sin is what separated us from God in the first place, and by sending His son to earth to die for our sins, God signed a peace treaty with us, using the blood of His only son. Everlasting peace is what we find when we accept the terms of the treaty. Have you signed on?
