When we come to Christ, does that mean all of a sudden we stop sinning?  Well First John makes it clear that if we claim to be without sin we’re a liar.  While we’re certainly not sinless, we will sin less than before we met our Savior.

Jesus Himself said so many times that we can’t keep the Law no matter how hard we try. Of course, that’s why it’s so wonderful to know that we have a Savior who paid the debt once for all. This is The Dwelling Place and we’re pleased to bring you another study from Romans today.

Moses gave three hundred sixty five prohibitions and two hundred forty eight positive commands. David reduced them to eleven in the Psalms, Isaiah made them six, Micah binds them into three commands, and finally Habakkuk reduces them all to one great statement: The just shall live by faith. Living by faith has great freedom, but it also has great responsibilities. We’re in Romans seven, and today pastor Al underscores the freedom we have from the law.

Contrary to what many think - sin is still mankind’s greatest problem!
