Psalm twenty-three is no doubt one of the best-loved texts in the entirety of Scripture. It describes how we can come under the Shepherds care! We are like sheep and sheep need a shepherd. That's why we are always in need. And the Lord knows. He is close at hand in His care of us. So if the Lord is your Shepherd – you’ll not lack any good thing.

The spread of the gospel – that’s our call. While it’s good to promote morality in government and society it can never replace the proclamation of the gospel. For the gospel is God’s means to bring about real and lasting change. And the price that was paid for it was great! That price was the cross! To be effective with the gospel it helps to have an appreciation of the cross. Today’s The Dwelling Place will help us arrive at that place.

Today on The Dwelling Place we study Psalms twenty and twenty-one, which are Psalms all about thanksgiving. Pastor Al Pittman will encourage us to give thanks to the Lord for He is good!
