Our Majestic God part 3

Today we stop one final time at Psalm sixty six. This Psalm of David provides a good backdrop to a look at what the world really needs more than anything else. What the world needs to solve her problems is a sharp turn away from destruction and toward God.

As pastor Al will remind us, God is certainly concerned with the words we use when we communicate with Him, but He’s more interested in where our Hearts are!

It was pretty early on in Paul’s evangelical ministry when he realized that the message he was sharing was being rejected by a lot of people. He was telling the people that the gospel message was for everyone - whether you were jewish or gentile. A lot of religious leaders of the day didn’t appreciate hearing that! Paul’s message was definitely “counterculture”!

Incidents of that type always prompt us to contemplate the fragility of life, and as Christians, we find comfort in knowing that we serve a mighty and powerful God. He is a God who loves us and has a plan laid out for our lives. Do you trust in Him completely?
