Paul and Barnabas had a disagreement in Acts fifteen, they departed from each other and went their separate ways. At first glance, this seems like a very unfortunate incident - until you realize that God suddenly had two missionary teams spreading the Gospel instead of just one.

Jesus poured Himself into twelve men who, in turn, poured themselves into the world.

Some pastors are altering the message of the gospel in order to make it more listener friendly. But if you change the message, it loses it’s power because it’s no longer the gospel. We’ve been going verse by verse through the book of Acts, and today, we will be finishing chapter thirteen. It was pretty early on in Paul’s evangelical ministry when he realized that the message he was sharing was being rejected by a lot of people. Just as it is today.
