Today we continue pastor Al’s new series in Titus, titled “Setting Things in Order”. This is one of the so-called “pastoral epistles”, because Paul wrote it to a pastor named Titus, who was struggling with a church body on the Island of Crete. So, the question might be asked, “what does a letter to a pastor have to do with me?”. Can I simply urge you to stay tuned? Because today’s message is practical, challenging, and pointed directly at the heart of every believer - pastor or not!

Death and Life. There is nothing else but those two. We are either alive or we are not. But as we look at Romans six today we’ll see that as we are alive in Christ, we are at the same time dead too sin. But being dead to sin does not mean we are free to do whatever we want.

Have you ever thought about what this world would be like if Adam had not sinned in the Garden? It was all downhill from there, wasn’t it? We were redeemed from that original sin , and every sin we commit, by the death of Christ on the cross. All we have to do is accept that wonderful gift! At the present time, we are making our way through the book of Titus, and in the first chapter, we read of a tough task given to Titus. But this mission was possible through the power of almighty God. False prophets existed in that day, just as they do in our day. But the question is, how do we respond to them?
