Passover (Pesach) dates 2026: Begins sunset Wednesday, April 1, 2026 Ends nightfall Thursday, April 9, 2026 **********************************************

The blood of the lamb saved Israel in Egypt, but what does that mean for you today? Join Rabbi Schneider as he discusses how Passover (Pesach) symbolism is woven through the New Testament, and invites you to personally apply what the Lamb has done.

Guest (Male): Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah.

Rabbi Schneider: Chag Sameach, everybody! When I say "Chag Sameach," I bring that word to you, it means happy holiday because we're in the Passover, the Pesach season.

Now, many of you that are listening or watching right now, you're not Jewish, and so you're kind of wondering how important is Passover for you? But Passover is really important for all God's people, whether you're a Jew or a Gentile. Why do I say that? Because Yeshua is the Passover Lamb.

Paul tells us in the book of Corinthians that Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed. In fact, think about this: Yeshua was identified and introduced to the world through John the Baptist. When Jesus came to the Jordan River to be baptized by John, John pointed at Him and said to all the people that were present to be baptized, "Behold the Lamb of God."

Guest (Male): John was using Passover, or we say in Hebrew, Pesach language. We find in the book of Revelation that more than any other title given to Jesus, the title that's most often given to Him is the Lamb.

We stand before the Lamb, we're written in the Lamb's book of life, it's the Lamb that's seated on the throne, the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. These are all scriptures that come from the book of Revelation.

Rabbi Schneider: Understanding again that the Lamb is Passover language, why? Because the Israelites, when they were delivered from Egypt over 3,500 years ago, they were instructed to take the blood of the Lamb and put it over their doorpost and as a result of that, God's judgment passed them over.

So Passover is really important for Christians, whether you're a Jew or a Gentile. Think about this: Israel was commanded, every family in Israel was commanded to take a lamb. And what was interesting, they lived with the lamb for a little bit before they sacrificed it. So they were familiar with the lamb, they became intimate with the lamb, the lamb became one of their family, and then they were commanded to sacrifice the lamb.

The way that that happened was, the father didn't just take the lamb and bring it outside the back of the house where no one could see what he was doing so the kids wouldn't be traumatized by the act of the father putting the lamb to death. No, instead what happened was everybody in Israel was commanded to take part in putting their own lambs to death.

God wants us to understand that it was our sin, everybody's sin, your sin and my sin that put Jesus to death. So for that reason, the Father couldn't just do it off to the side where no one saw because God wanted to illustrate for us for all time to come that it's sin, our sin personally, yours and mine, that put Jesus to death.

It was our sin that caused the nails to be pierced through His hands and His feet and the spear thrust into His side. So every family took a lamb, everyone took part in putting the lamb to death, and then they took the blood of the lamb and they gathered it in a basin.

But get this: the blood in the basin could not save them. In order for them to be rescued, they had to then take that blood that was in the basin, they put a hyssop branch in the basin and then applied the blood through the hyssop branch to the individual personal doorpost and lintels of their home and then they went inside the home.

The point was the blood in the basin couldn't save them, they had to apply that blood to their lives by putting it over the doorpost of their personal residence where they lived. So the concept is, it's not enough just to believe that Jesus died for your sin. We have to take Him into our life and through taking Him into our life, receiving Him, eating His word.

Jesus said if you eat My flesh and drink My blood, you'll have life in you. We take Him into our life daily looking to Him, praying to Him, calling out to Him, desiring Him, receiving Him in the spirit. That's how His blood is applied to our life and that, beloved, is how we get delivered and how we get saved.

So this is a great season to celebrate what Yeshua, the Lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world, has done for you and me. It's a happy time to rejoice in what Jesus has done to rescue sinners, you and I. God loves you, beloved one. He doesn't count your sin against you; it's removed as far as the east is from the west. God's love and presence is with you right now.

Hey listen, if these ministries that I'm bringing to you, these teachings are helping you, could I ask you, would you just open your heart and ask the Lord, "Lord, do you want me to present a special offering to you through this ministry through Discovering the Jewish Jesus?"

Because the truth is, my beloved friend, it does cost money to do everything that we're doing, whether it's something that we're broadcasting on television, radio, going to Africa, ministering in Israel, all this costs money. So I want to ask you, if this ministry is feeding you and helping you, you believe in it, you believe in me, would you open your heart to the Lord and ask, "Lord, should I present to You an offering through this ministry during Passover?"

If you do, beloved, I want to thank you in advance. Thank you so much for your financial support. Without you, my beloved friends, we wouldn't be able to do what we're doing and I wouldn't be able to keep putting these teachings out there. God bless you and Shalom.

About Rabbi K.A. Schneider

Messianic Rabbi K.A. Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus and end-times messenger of the LORD, delivers the Word of the LORD with  true passion of the Holy Spirit.  At the age of 20 years old, the LORD appeared to him, supernaturally, as Jesus, the Messiah.  He has since pastored, traveled as an evangelist, and more recently, served as rabbi of a messianic synagogue.

Rabbi K.A. Schneider imparts revelation of Jesus’ Jewish heritage and His fulfillment of  messianic prophecy.  Questions of how the Old and New Testaments tie together, and how Yeshua completes the unfolding plan of The Almighty Yahweh, are answered with exceptional clarity.

Central to the LORD’s plan is Israel and the Jewish people.  Romans 11:11 explains that the Gentile believer has been chosen by God to bring the witness of the LORD to the Jewish people.  As this message of Yeshua is brought back to, and received by, the Jewish people, they will say, “Baruch Haba B’Shem Adonai” – “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD!” and in so doing, usher in Yeshua’s return (Matthew 23:39).

Through understanding the Old Testament and its prophetic nature, with Yeshua as its fulfillment, the viewer’s faith is strengthened, increased relationship and intimacy with the LORD is discovered, and an end-times vision of life is crystallized.  “Discovering The Jewish Jesus” is an end-times ministry, strengthening the church and calling her to be a readied bride for the return of the Bridegroom, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus The Messiah).
