This Psalm Lights the Way Forward.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).
Guest (Female): Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah.
Rabbi K.A. Schneider: I remember as a young Jewish believer in Yeshua, we had these choruses that we used to sing, mostly out of the Psalms and prophetic writings. I want to share a little tune with you. Some of you perhaps have heard it before; many probably have not. It's taken right out of the Word of God, Psalm 119, verse 105. First, I'll read it, then we'll sing it: Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Let's try it one more time together. Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Father, just cause the light of Your Word to shine upon our lives today, that we'd be able to see in front of us and that we'd be able to know which way to walk. May we have the wisdom to know how to handle every circumstance and every relationship. Father, may Your Word be actively conforming us to the image of Your Son, causing us to become more like Jesus and causing us to fall deeper and deeper in love with You. We worship You, Father God, in Yeshua's name.

Central to the LORD’s plan is Israel and the Jewish people. Romans 11:11 explains that the Gentile believer has been chosen by God to bring the witness of the LORD to the Jewish people. As this message of Yeshua is brought back to, and received by, the Jewish people, they will say, “Baruch Haba B’Shem Adonai” – “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD!” and in so doing, usher in Yeshua’s return (Matthew 23:39).
