Guest (Female): Welcome to Seeds of Revelation. Today's short devotional is presented by Cynthia Schneider.

Rabbi K.A. Schneider: Shalom. I had a dream that woke me up in the middle of the night and I could not rest until I had a question answered. The question that was boring into my soul was, "Who am I?"

Now, you'd think that after walking with the Lord for so many years, I would know who I am. The Lord has revealed so much of who I am, but we are all in a process. We're in a process of becoming, of becoming who we are and knowing who we are.

Discovering the Jewish Jesus led a campaign a few years back where we went out and we wanted to help people find out who they are. So we put banners all over that said "Who am I?" to challenge people to come and find out at our website who they are in Messiah Christ.

Well, here I was with this same boring question: "Who am I?" As I wrestled, I felt confused. I felt lost. I felt the chaos of the world. It came suddenly in the middle of the night and I thought, "Why would this be?" But maybe God wanted me to share this with you.

As I wrestled this out with the Lord that night, he took me to a vision I've had in the past of me being on the cross with Yeshua, in Yeshua. At that cross, I experienced the Father's eyes on me.

His love was coming down on me and suddenly, at the cross, everything—all the old self, the lost, confused self—was lost and forever forgotten. The only thing that was there that I experienced was the love of the Father.

I knew who I was. I was loved by the Creator of the world. I had a reason that he put me on this earth and it was because he wanted me here. He wanted to have a relationship with me. He wants me to feel and experience his love and for me to love him, to have that relationship.

He put me on this earth so that I would know relationship and I would accomplish a specific purpose that he has for me on this earth.

I challenge you right now, if you're lost, if you're confused, if you're wondering like I was, "Why am I here? Who am I?" go to the cross with Yeshua. Empty yourself out bare before the Lord and let him reveal his love in you and that will settle it. You were put here on purpose because of his love for you and his divine purposes.
