Here's Why You Must Fight Back

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy” (Matthew 5:7).

Guest (Male): Welcome to Seeds of Revelation, a short devotional presented by Rabbi Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus the Messiah.

Rabbi K.A. Schneider: Let me ask you a question. Do you practice trying to walk in mercy towards people? Yeshua said in the Sermon on the Mount in the Beatitudes, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy." There is somebody that we are in a war with that does not have an ounce of mercy in him, and that is the devil.

The devil has come to do only one of three things: either to steal, to kill, or to destroy. He is the accuser of the brethren. He hates every one of us. He hates you, he hates your best friend, he hates your mother-in-law, and he hates all the people that you work with. He is continuously trying to project his spirit into our lives so that rather than showing mercy towards people, the devil is wanting us to show accusation and ill will towards them.

We need to resist the accusation of the devil that is wanting to work through our lives. We need to resist the spirit that is wanting to accuse others through us. Instead, we need to choose mercy. The next time that you are feeling condemnation towards somebody, or ill will or accusation towards someone, recognize what it is.

Recognize that the thought is coming from the devil himself, the power of darkness. Resist that thought and shift out of it to show mercy. Try to recognize that this person is not perfect. Maybe they are not exactly your type of person, someone that you are naturally drawn to, but God loves this person. Pray, "Lord, help me to see this person through Your eyes. Help me to have love for them. Help me to have mercy."

When we practice showing mercy to other people, it sometimes takes work. Sometimes it is a sacrifice and takes effort, but when you and I overcome to live in mercy, we begin to experience God's mercy, unmerited kindness, and favor towards us. We enter into feeling God's embrace for us when we show mercy to other people.

If we do not show mercy, there is going to be a block. We won't be able to feel God's love and acceptance. When Yeshua said, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy," it wasn't just a poetic platitude. It is life and death, really. It is very serious. Let's be people by the grace of God that walk in mercy. Let's walk in mercy in Yeshua's name.

About Rabbi K.A. Schneider

Messianic Rabbi K.A. Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus and end-times messenger of the LORD, delivers the Word of the LORD with  true passion of the Holy Spirit.  At the age of 20 years old, the LORD appeared to him, supernaturally, as Jesus, the Messiah.  He has since pastored, traveled as an evangelist, and more recently, served as rabbi of a messianic synagogue.

Rabbi K.A. Schneider imparts revelation of Jesus’ Jewish heritage and His fulfillment of  messianic prophecy.  Questions of how the Old and New Testaments tie together, and how Yeshua completes the unfolding plan of The Almighty Yahweh, are answered with exceptional clarity.

Central to the LORD’s plan is Israel and the Jewish people.  Romans 11:11 explains that the Gentile believer has been chosen by God to bring the witness of the LORD to the Jewish people.  As this message of Yeshua is brought back to, and received by, the Jewish people, they will say, “Baruch Haba B’Shem Adonai” – “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD!” and in so doing, usher in Yeshua’s return (Matthew 23:39).

Through understanding the Old Testament and its prophetic nature, with Yeshua as its fulfillment, the viewer’s faith is strengthened, increased relationship and intimacy with the LORD is discovered, and an end-times vision of life is crystallized.  “Discovering The Jewish Jesus” is an end-times ministry, strengthening the church and calling her to be a readied bride for the return of the Bridegroom, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus The Messiah).
