“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:10).

Rabbi K.A. Schneider: I know many of you will be able to relate to this. This comes from the Beatitudes. This is what Yeshua said: "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of God." Let me say it again. "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of God."

You know what this does? It brings me great joy to suffer for Jesus, for righteousness' sake. You might be rejected by the world, but know that when you suffer some persecution and some rejection from the world, you've got a great reward coming here. Listen to what Yeshua followed up by saying: "Blessed are you when men insult you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

So don't back down, my beloved friend, from standing out boldly for Jesus. Don't back down from loving people in Jesus' name. Don't back down from witnessing to people in Jesus' name. Don't back down in quoting the Bible when you're in this world in Jesus' name. Don't back down from being a visible witness for Jesus in this world. I realized the other day, I was at a restaurant, and I had my shirt on, "The Jewish Jesus," and "Jesus" in big letters. All I did that day was I just showed love to my waitress.

I realized that because I had Jesus all over my shirt and now I was showing love that she probably hadn't experienced that day, I wouldn't think. Cynthia and I were together being served, but there was just something special that we have as believers. She knew that that love was coming from Jesus. Blessed are you if you're rejected for showing love, for witnessing, for doing good, or for standing for truth in Jesus' name. When you're rejected because of that, your reward in heaven is great.

I want to encourage you today: be a visible witness for Jesus and the kingdom of God in this world. Let your light shine. And you know what? You're going to be rejected at times. But when you are, know that you are taking a stand with the prophets of old that were rejected because of righteousness, and Jesus said your reward is going to be great. Be a visible Christian.

About Rabbi K.A. Schneider

Messianic Rabbi K.A. Schneider, a Jewish believer in Jesus and end-times messenger of the LORD, delivers the Word of the LORD with  true passion of the Holy Spirit.  At the age of 20 years old, the LORD appeared to him, supernaturally, as Jesus, the Messiah.  He has since pastored, traveled as an evangelist, and more recently, served as rabbi of a messianic synagogue.

Central to the LORD’s plan is Israel and the Jewish people.  Romans 11:11 explains that the Gentile believer has been chosen by God to bring the witness of the LORD to the Jewish people.  As this message of Yeshua is brought back to, and received by, the Jewish people, they will say, “Baruch Haba B’Shem Adonai” – “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD!” and in so doing, usher in Yeshua’s return (Matthew 23:39).

Through understanding the Old Testament and its prophetic nature, with Yeshua as its fulfillment, the viewer’s faith is strengthened, increased relationship and intimacy with the LORD is discovered, and an end-times vision of life is crystallized.  “Discovering The Jewish Jesus” is an end-times ministry, strengthening the church and calling her to be a readied bride for the return of the Bridegroom, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus The Messiah).
