People have created a variety of illustrations to try to explain the Trinity. But none of them do justice to the majesty of God. The question is: Can the problem of the Trinity be resolved by the finite mind?

It is beyond man’s ability to understand the Trinity. So the best thing to do is just let God speak about it through the Word—and scripture teaches this doctrine as fact.

It’s not easy to relate to a God who knows all, is everywhere, and is all-powerful. But the Trinity is a doctrine that is even more difficult. The natural man cannot understand it.

In Psalm 139, David asks where he can run from the presence of God. But it’s really a statement rather than a question. There’s no place anyone can hide from God.
