Throughout church history, some people have been so obsessed with evil spirits that they have started so-called deliverance ministries to cast out demons from people. But being obsessed with such things is the wrong focus for a Christian—we should focus on the Lord Jesus Christ.

In Athens, Paul saw that the city was given over to idols, and that the philosophies preached there left people empty at their core. He used this to reach out to them with the hope found in Christ.
