There are only 5 verses in the Bible that refer to Enoch, yet through these verses we see the importance of a close relationship with God. By faith, Enoch did not experience death because God had taken him. Enoch’s life seems like a mystery, for there are little known details about his life, but we do know that he pleased God. Based on what we know about Enoch, what can we learn so that it may be said of us that our lives please God?

Cain tried to worship God on his own terms, in essence, creating his own religion. Similarly today, men still try to create their own religion and individual path to God. Skip Heitzig begins a new series of teachings called Running with Champions. Hebrews 11 commemorates men and women who are considered champions of faith.
