David Ogden coined Obama's 'Porn Czar', appointed as Deputy of the Department of Justice, a job that has been described as the department's chief operating officer, is stepping down from his post. Why?

What do we know about him? A former counselor and chief of staff to Attorney General Janet Reno, as a private lawyer extensively represented Playboy, Penthouse and other pornography businesses on numerous occasions and also argued to force the government to use taxpayer dollars to publish Playboy in Braille at the Library of Congress.

He also was legal counsel opposing the Children's Internet Protection Act and the Child Protection Obscenity and Enforcement Act, which require pornographers to verify their "performers" are not children.

He convinced the court that requiring producers of pornographic materials to personally verify that models were over age 18 at the time the materials were made would "burden too heavily and infringe too deeply on the right to produce First Amendment protected material."

Ogden also represented a group of library directors who were attempting to thwart the Children's Internet Protection Act. The legislation would have ordered libraries and schools that received tax funds for the Internet to restrict access to pornographic and obscene websites.

But this is not why he is leaving. That's what we talk about on today's show.

Hint: could have something to do with the Black Panthers.
