Sharon Hughes: Hello everyone, thank you so much for joining me for this edition of Changing Worldviews podcast, which is part two with William Federer on his book, What Every American Needs to Know About the Quran.

As many of you know, this past week, a Jewish man was stabbed coming out of a synagogue here in the United States. So, there is a lot of talk about what is going on, why the rise of anti-Semitism. And one of the things that is happening in New York City, which is now run by the socialist communist Mamdani, who also is a Muslim, who as you know, is the mayor of New York City, is part of the Twelver branch of the Shia Islam.

They believe in 12, what they say divinely appointed imams, who will follow Prophet Muhammad, with the 12th imam, who Shia Muslims view as the rightful successor to the Prophet Muhammad and the final imam and is expected to return as a messianic figure to bring justice in the world.

At any rate, Mamdani has spoken out against Israel. Also, since Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is due to come to the United Nations for his address, Mamdani, according to the New York Times, called Netanyahu a war criminal and called on the US to arrest him.

Well, what are we to make of all this? Apart from our concern and hatred for any violence against any human being, how do we see our way through the rhetoric to have our worldview be correct as regards what is going on? So, stay with me as we give you the facts so that you can discern the truth.

Zohran Mamdani: Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. He is the architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people. So, I want to first clarify a few things. Our administration did not reach out to the Prime Minister of Iran. Our administration received a request from the Iranian consulate.

As soon as I heard of it, I made it clear that we are not meeting and we will not meet with the Israeli consulate here in New York City. I was elected as a democratic socialist and I will govern as a democratic socialist. I will not abandon my principles for fear of being deemed radical.

Guest (Male): I do think that Jews feel very uncomfortable because I speak to quite a lot of my friends and they say, "Look, it's like a different world. We're afraid to go into the streets. We certainly do not want to wear yarmulkes or any clothing that would give away that we're Jews." Yes, they feel frightened and I think that's part of this incitement language that is sweeping a lot of circles with anti-Semitism, a lot of circles in the West, in the United States, and unbelievably, in New York City, which has the second-largest Jewish population in the world after Israel.

What Mamdani is supporting, his wife, his family, he even celebrated the October 7th massacre, the worst massacre against Jews since the Holocaust. He's basically supporting the Hamas murderers who raped our women, then beheaded them, burned babies alive, slaughtered our men, took innocent people hostage, 251 men, women, children, babies. That's who he's supporting.

And they're the ones who are responsible for genocide. They would have killed, as their charter says and as they themselves proclaim, they would have killed every single Jew in Israel and every Jew in the world. So, the genocide charge belongs to our enemies.

What we're doing is trying to fight this genocidal terrorist organization that embeds itself among civilians, prevents us from moving the civilians out of harm's way. They use gunpoint. That's where the real criminals are. But Mamdani is aligning himself with the criminals, with these murderers. But the worst thing is that he's tormenting his own citizens, his own voters.

Bill Federer: And so, these assassins would have daggers under their cloaks and they'd go into the camp of their enemy and assassinate their enemy right in the midst of his supporters and friends and even in mosques and in temples. And so, this is an 11th-century precursor to suicide bombing where you go right into the camp, right into the midst where everybody thinks they're peaceful, and then you blow yourself up.

Sharon Hughes: You're listening to Changing Worldviews with Sharon Hughes. We'll be right back.

In the classic science fiction novel, Brave New World, people are little more than manufactured products. The authorities clone human embryos, drug them, and develop them in mechanical wombs. At least in the story, they are allowed to live. But we are faced with an even worse reality.

Recently, scientists announced the construction of the first artificial womb. Some hope it will eventually be used to grow embryos whose organs would be harvested. These human embryos would be killed and scavenged for parts.

As science grows ever more sophisticated, we face a choice as a society. We can move toward a brave new world where every technological advance helps the powerful profit from the helpless, or we can build a humane world in which every human being is free from exploitation. Which do you want? This has been a perspective on life from National Right to Life. For more information, visit our website at nrlc.org. That's nrlc.org.

We always like to have a special offer every month that not only will get valuable information into the hands of our listeners but also to help us cover on-air costs. And this month is a book by the late Hilmar von Campe, Defeating the Totalitarian Lie.

Hilmar von Campe: We had a government now in Germany. They call the Social Democrats. They refuse to have God mentioned in their oaths. Normally, when you think of the Nazis and the war, you look to the criminals. But the really responsible people for what was happening are the appeasers, the bystanders who don't want to risk anything.

Sharon Hughes: Hilmar's book on the totalitarian state is a now book, if I can put it that way. So, if you would like to get a copy, just go to our website changingworldviews.com. You can click on the store page there and order it, or you can send a check to Changing Worldviews, PO Box 211, Chicago Park, California 95712. Again, PO Box 211, Chicago Park, California 95712.

Okay, thanks for staying with me. Now, part two with modern-day historian and author of numerous books, particularly, What Every American Needs to Know About the Quran. Here it is.

I really appreciate your book, Bill, all of them are great, but What Americans Need to Know About the Quran and the History. Bill is a modern-day historian that we at Changing Worldviews trust and rely on to get credible information of whatever topic that he's written about. So, Bill, why did you decide you wanted to write this book now?

Bill Federer: Sharon, when I saw Keith Ellison swearing in upon a Quran, and after knowing what's in the Quran, I decided somebody needs to let the public know. Not only does the Quran have verses like Sura 5:17 that says infidels are those who declare God is Christ, the son of Mary, and Sura 5:73 that says infidels are those who say God is one of three in a trinity, but it also has Sura 4:101 that says infidels are your sworn enemies. Make war on the infidels that dwell around you.

It's like this guy is swearing in upon this book. And one of the things I found interesting is Thomas Jefferson is the one that penned the Declaration of Independence. And Keith Ellison, the Muslim that swore in, he decided to borrow Thomas Jefferson's Quran from the Library of Congress.

Thomas Jefferson had 6,400 books in his private library that he sold to the Library of Congress after the library had been burned from the War of 1812. And so amongst his 6,400 books was a copy of the Quran. And it's interesting, Jefferson was so attached to the doctrines of Jesus that he wrote his Jefferson Bible.

And he went through the entire New Testament, every place where Jesus talked about love your enemies, turn the other cheek, do good to those that hate you, resist not evil. This is what Jefferson put into his Jefferson Bible. He admired the doctrines of Jesus. So, he did not do that with the Quran.

Jefferson, in his Declaration of Independence, says what? All men are created equal. And a very cursory reading of the Quran, anybody can pick it up and read it, you will see very clearly that women are not equal to men and that infidels are not equal to believing Muslims. So, here was Keith Ellison swearing upon a book that says women aren't equal to men and infidels aren't equal to Muslims, but he's swearing to uphold the Constitution which is based on the idea that all people are equal.

Sharon Hughes: Well, I think he used Thomas Jefferson's Quran, which was part of this huge library, to try to give some kind of credence to what he was doing. And why we need to be talking about this. Can you, number one, see you or I being in Saudi Arabia, for instance, and being sworn in, being elected, which would never happen, but we decided we wanted to do it on the Bible instead of the Quran? Not going to happen.

Bill Federer: Yeah, I sometimes think that our efforts to be accommodating are viewed by them as conquest. Now, I'm sure hoping that they'll reciprocate and maybe give some more freedoms to the Christians in those Muslim countries. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet.

The Pope welcomed them building a huge mosque just a couple miles away from the Vatican. But Saudi Arabia has yet to invite the Catholic Church or any Christian church to build in Saudi Arabia. So, they're not being reciprocal. And you see this is part of their pattern.

Again, there's the house of Islam and the house of war. They actually call the non-Muslim world the house of war, which brings up an interesting topic because one of the verses in the Quran, Muhammad said it's okay to lie to appease your wife, and of course he had 15 of them. It's okay to lie to reconcile two Muslim friends. And it's okay to lie in war.

So, if the entire non-Muslim world is the house of war and he said it's okay to lie in times of war, then any Muslim can feel okay in lying to a non-Muslim and lying to the West and lying to the media.

Sharon Hughes: Yeah, if you've got the President of Iran saying that Israel must be wiped off the map and then Mike Wallace or somebody interviews him and he says, "Well, that's not really what I meant." I mean, he's lying. I mean, it's part of the record of what he said.

Bill Federer: When Muhammad first went into Mecca, he made a treaty with the Jews. He went into Medina, he made a treaty with the Jews there because he had just a handful of followers. And the Jews, there were three major Jewish tribes in Medina and he made a treaty with them for common protection for the city.

After a few years, Muhammad had got more converts and he broke the treaty and went ahead and killed the, cut off the heads of 700 Jewish men. And so it was this idea that you make a treaty when you're weak until you can get strong enough to attack. And that's the basis that is followed by that faith.

Sharon Hughes: Yasser Arafat also followed that mentality as well. There's a lot on record when he was alive saying that kind of thing. He would say one thing in all the peace treaties and he would say, "This is our strategy," but then behind the scenes he would say, "No, we haven't changed at all. We're just waiting until we are strong enough to do what we need to do." We have to take a break here, ladies and gentlemen. So, stay with me for the next segment with Bill Federer on what every American needs to know about the Quran.

Is there really modern-day slavery in our country? Yes, and it's called human trafficking. Men, women, and children across America are being lured into this sad reality. Victims are promised jobs, wealth, and opportunities for themselves and their families, but instead, they endure isolation from the rest of the world and are often mentally, physically, or sexually abused. It is important to learn about the harsh reality of human trafficking so we can help end this form of modern-day slavery. A message from the Christian Medical Association.

James Robison: Hello, this is James Robison. I'm encouraging all of you to join us in prayer for the upcoming elections. We must not only participate with active participation in the vote, but also prayerful participation.

Jesus said if you want your house to stand, you must build it on a solid foundation. He said the unshakable rock is hearing and doing what he says, following his word. At this critical point in human history, we must have godly leaders, those who will abide by his irrefutable, unshakable principles.

I'm asking you to join us in prayer that people will vote, vote their convictions based upon principles, and vote for those who will uphold principles, not sell out to political parties or partisan positions. You can sign up for the Pray the Vote presidential prayer team website www.presidentialprayerteam.org. Become a part of this vitally important effort with me as we pray for the upcoming elections.

Sharon Hughes: You're listening to Changing Worldviews with Sharon Hughes. There is a mosque that is going to be built in London right across from the Olympic stadium. It's going to seat 70,000 people. What they can't do by taking over by war, their second-hand strategy as I understand it is to do it just simply by immigration and by population, have lots of kids and move into, which they're doing in Britain.

Bill Federer: I was just with a member of the EU parliament named Gerard Batten. And he lives in London and he published a pamphlet, a small book where he listed all these verses from the Quran where it says to kill the infidel, to kill the unbeliever, and he asks Muslims to reject these verses.

And those that reject them, he says, "Now we can identify who our friends are," and then the ones that won't reject them, he says, "Now we've identified who our enemies are." But he says it's dangerous because the Muslims are moving in. They can have four wives and more than that if they can afford it.

And so they're multiplying demographically a lot faster than the Western Europeans that are having these declining birth rates and having more abortions. And so we're seeing a demographic change. And one of the definitions I thought was interesting, the word "assassin" is an 11th-century Arabic word which comes from the word hashish, the drug.

And there was the Hassan-i Sabbah, who was this Hassassin leader. And Marco Polo writes about having visited this guy's castle. And what he would do, they would abduct men and get them high on hashish and take them to a garden with lots of women and tell them that this was paradise and then take them back where they were kidnapped from.

And they would sober up and they would tell them, "You just went to paradise and if you obey Allah to the death, that's where you return." And so these assassins would have daggers under their cloaks and they'd go into the camp of their enemy and assassinate their enemy right in the midst of his supporters and friends and even in mosques and in temples.

And so this is an 11th-century precursor to suicide bombing where you go right into the camp, right into the midst where everybody thinks they're peaceful, and then you blow yourself up.

Sharon Hughes: I wish this could all be made into a movie because unfortunately our culture today is more image-driven and if we could put it in a movie, more people would get it. Nevertheless, this is great. How can people get ahold of your book?

Bill Federer: Well, americanminute.com is my website, americanminute.com. I also have it as an e-book where you can pay $10 and get it emailed to you in an electronic Adobe e-book and can read right on your computer. But americanminute.com.

Sharon Hughes: Bill, can we talk about, there's so much knowledge and understanding about the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis, but there was a huge Holocaust also of the Armenians, I mean, 1.5 million by the Muslims. And that's horrific. That's terrible.

Bill Federer: And it actually was an inspiration for Hitler because he saw how the Turks killed this million and a half Armenian Christians and there was no outcry from the Western world. It first started under the last Sultan there in Armenia. His name was Abdul Hamid.

And in 1894 he decided to, Turkey used to be a very large area. But in the late 1800s, Greece broke free from Turkey. Romania broke free from Turkey. Bulgaria broke free from Turkey. Parts of Hungary, parts of Poland broke free from Turkey. And the Armenians wanted to break free. But unfortunately, they were like smack dab in the middle of Turkey and so they couldn't.

So, the Sultan killed 100,000 of them just to start off with. And this is what Grover Cleveland wrote. President Grover Cleveland in 1895, he says the reported massacres of Christians in Armenia, the development there and in other districts of a spirit of fanatic hostility to Christian influences, the result in the destruction of missionary properties and riots and so forth.

The next year, Grover Cleveland writes the hideous bloody aspect occurring in Turkey, where men, women, and children have been bloodily butchered, made martyrs to their profession of their Christian faith. Then it goes on to say the outbreaks of blind fury which lead to murder and pillage in Turkey occur suddenly and without notice.

Says Armenian Christians have begun to arrive at our ports. I thought the sudden outbreaks of blind fury, that sounds like the way they reacted to that Danish cartoon. But this is 1896. Well, what happened is that Sultan was overthrown by some soldiers and these soldiers called Young Turks set up a constitutional government.

And so the Armenians thought, "Oh, great, we're going to have some relief." But these Young Turks decided they wanted to restore the Ottoman Turkish empire to its former glory. And in order to do that, they needed to get rid of the non-Muslims. So, the first thing they did was they disarmed all of the Greek and Armenian people as dhimmi.

You know, that's the second-class status of Christians and Jews as dhimmi, they couldn't own weapons. But they demanded that they turn in weapons. And so these Armenians actually would pay exorbitant prices to Muslims to buy a gun to turn in. They were finally disarmed.

And then Woodrow Wilson tried to get America to accept Armenia as a protectorate like Puerto Rico. But we were in an isolationist mood and they said, "We don't want to get involved in a civil war that's in another country with those Muslims." And we actually had American ships in the harbor of Smyrna, the pearl of the Aegean.

And the American sailors could hear the screams of the women and children as they were being butchered. The blood ran down into the port, made the water red. They dragged the patriarch out of his Byzantine church and dismembered him in the street. This mad fury going on in 1922. And finally, the church in Smyrna was wiped out, even though it was mentioned in the book of Revelation.

Sharon Hughes: Oh, just amazing. You'd mentioned Bethlehem. And I don't know if your listeners know, our listeners know that Bethlehem right now is predominantly Muslim.

Bill Federer: And not too long ago it was Christian. When it was under the Jews, it was predominantly Christian. But whenever the Muslims take over, the Christians end up diminishing.

Sharon Hughes: Okay, a lot of history there. Now let's bring it fast forward to America now in the 21st century. Coming up next on the show will be my interview with Eric Staklebeck, terrorism expert. And here's just a peek of what that discussion will be about.

Eric Staklebeck: The Ground Zero mega-mosque is just a tip of the iceberg. Right now, including in Murfreesboro, there are no less than 10 mega-mosque projects planned throughout the United States. Now all of these projects are spread out over several acres of land and they're multi-million dollar projects.

The project in Murfreesboro really peaked my interest because this is the buckle of the Bible Belt. This is, you know, God and country, the center of gospel music, Christian literature. The headquarters is there in Middle Tennessee. Yet in this town of Murfreesboro, about 30 miles south of Nashville, there are plans to erect a multi-million dollar Islamic center over 15.2 acres of land for a very small Muslim community.

And there's a lot of questions here like where's the money coming from? What's the ideology behind the people who are running this mosque? And ultimately, Sharon, why does such a small Muslim community need such a huge complex? To me, in the case of Murfreesboro and in these other mega-mosque locations, particularly at Ground Zero, it's nothing more than a sign, a premeditated sign of Islamic domination.

Sharon Hughes: Do you have a list of them where these mega-mosques are being planned?

Eric Staklebeck: Yes, now you have three in Tennessee, Sharon. You have Murfreesboro, the town called Antioch, also Memphis, Tennessee, huge mega-mosque. Then we work our way over to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, very rural area. Then Temecula, California, 60 miles north of San Diego, another middle-class town.

Then we have the first mosque ever in Northern Kentucky, Florence, Kentucky. Also Portland, Oregon, and Brooklyn, New York. The geographical expanse is really striking, I think.

Sharon Hughes: So, we will bring other experts on what is going on in the Middle East and especially as it affects the United States and affects Israel. So, I encourage you to go to our website changingworldviews.com. Click on the mic at the top of the page, that'll take you to OnePlace.com where our archives are there. You can sign up and you can get our app for your phone and your other devices and so much more.

Well, in closing, I encourage you, we want to keep our eyes wide open, we want to keep our ears open, we want to keep our heart open to the truth because it's the truth that sets us free.

And having said all of that, if you did listen to part one of my interview with William Federer, you know that I ended the show playing a song that I asked AI to create for Changing Worldviews, which is kind of fun.

Well, here's another one I asked them to create a song for us about how we here in America still believe in God. So let me just preface that with this. We can all just feel like deers in front of the lights. I mean, it's just so much going on and it's hard to know who to believe, it's hard to know what to believe.

And that's why it's no surprise to our regular listeners to know that for us here at Changing Worldviews, our plum line is the Bible because we believe that God knows everything and he told us what we need to know not just about the past, but also what's going to be coming in the future.

And so that is our go-to. And because of Jesus we can have peace, peace that actually passes understanding in the midst of all kinds of craziness, all kinds of crisis personally, nationally, and on the world scene.

And Jesus himself said, as recorded in the Gospels, that "When you've seen me, you've seen the Father." You want to know what God is like, you look at Jesus. And now here is our second song written for us by AI. See if you like it.

In a world where shadows seem to spread

We find our light in the words we read

And die by the creator with a heart so free

In life lived at sea and the pursuit you see

In every moment from dawn to dusk

In God we trust we find our musk

Through trials and storms we stand our ground

In the whispers of faith our strength is found

Oh in God we trust because he’s good

With every step we’re understood

No hate or lies can poison the heart

Truth is our armor we’ll never depart

We’ll never depart

Oh they’ll try to twist the words of love

Feeding the fear trying to shove

But we rise above we hold our heads high

With faith as our guide we’ll reach the sky

The pursuit of happiness is a journey we choose

With joy in our hearts there’s nothing to lose

Let’s dance in the sunlight sing in the rain

In God we trust we break every chain

Oh in God we trust because he’s good

With every step we’re understood

No hate or lies can poison the heart

Truth is our armor we’ll never depart

We’ll never depart

Oh in God we trust because he’s good

With every step we’re understood

No hate or lies can poison the heart

Truth is our armor we’ll never depart

We’ll never depart

Oh, in God we trust because he’s good.

Sharon Hughes: And so I want to leave you with that thought and until next time, this is Sharon Hughes saying it like it is.
