The Feast of Purim: Part 1

March 25, 2024

The story of Purim is for anyone who may have thought that God has forgotten them. For anyone who may have concluded that they are fighting the fight all by themselves; here and more than in any other places in the Scriptures, God is never gone, He is so involved in the affairs of His people.

The Book of Esther stands also as a prophecy which speaks of God's love for Israel and for all, for all who made Yeshua Lord in their lives. Esther is then for you to know that He loves and protects you all the time, even though we may not always see Him.

Welcome to Messianic Viewpoint with Messianic leader, Jacques Isaac Gabizon and this 2 day message on the Feast of Purim. Blessings as you listen, shalom.

Prophecies take up about ¼ of the Scriptures so we cannot simply ignore them. Knowing prophecy enables us to give a clear presentation to others of why things unfold the way they do in such areas as politics, morality, technology and global ecological changes. It also helps us to rightly place Israel in God’s prophetic plan.

The Book of Leviticus: Sermon 14 Part 1 with Messianic Leader Jacques Isaac Gabizon, Beth Ariel, Montreal bethariel.ca Did you know that there is no other book of the Bible which contains more of the very words of God than in Leviticus? Here, God is the direct speaker on almost every page. That is one very important reason why we consider this book so vital to read through. At the start of the book, we are immediately confronted by detailed and graphic laws concerning animal sacrifices which for some, could be very offensive. Without hesitation, the book explains how the offender should slaughter the animal, how he should flay it and cut it into pieces. But what are we about to discover behind this first, uninviting, and aggressive description of the sacrifices and profusion of blood? The moment one begins to understand that Leviticus is not really a book, but a mirror, one will begin to grasp its message. God is holy and He requires our purity. What is most offensive here is not the animal sacrifice but our actions, our sins which have caused us to separate from God.  Leviticus demands that we evaluate the causes and consequences of our own sins and then draw closer to God.

About Messianic Viewpoint

Welcome to Messianic Viewpoint! This radio program falls under the umbrella of Beth Ariel Congregation in Montreal, Canada. We recognize Israel in the plan of God, defending the biblical position that God is not through dealing with her, nor are His promises to her yet fully fulfilled. In these “last days” there is a great need for Jewish outreach. We pray that both Jew and Gentile would be blessed through this teaching ministry.

About Jacques Isaac Gabizon

Beth Ariel Congregation’s Messianic Leader is Jacques Isaac Gabizon, a Sephardic Jewish believer in Yeshua (Jesus). Born in Casablanca, Morocco and hailing from a long line of rabbinical ancestry, Pastor Gabizon came to faith in 1976 after investigating and accepting the claims of the Old Testament prophets as to who the Messiah is. His teaching of the Scriptures emphasizes the Jewish perspective, incorporating the cultural, social, and rabbinical teaching to help draw a more accurate understanding of the Scriptures as a whole. J. Isaac and his wife Sharon have 4 children and ten grandchildren.
