Awakened to Grace

The Biblical stories of David's Mighty Men are fascinating. In this sermon called, "Stand Your Ground," we look at the life of a man named Shammah who was one of David's Mighty Men. When the Philistines came to attack Israel, the Bible says that all the men of Israel fled, except Shammah. He stood in the middle of a field of beans and defended the field. In this powerful sermon, Pastor Chad explains how God has called us to stand and defend what God has given to us. There are some fields that are worth defending. Fields like our marriages and children. Fields like Joy and Spiritual fervency. The Bible says that Shammah stood and defended the field, but it also says that God brought a great victory that day. Pastor Chad concludes by showing us how God does not need us to win the battle, for the battle belongs to the Lord. God simply needs us to stand and fight. God will win the battle!
