How can we pray for the sick?

How can we pray for those who are terminally ill? Is the beginning of Romans 7 about divorce or about something else? Does Numbers 5 justify abortion? I have been deeply hurt by my husband and his unfaithfulness. I am not sure how to continue. Can you offer any thoughts?
