Here’s the Truth!

July 24, 2022

We live in a day of relativism, where everyone can have their own version of truth. People often decide what to believe based on the ideas and viewpoints that make them feel good.

But truth isn’t based on feelings, and it’s not negotiable. God’s perspective on the truth is what matters, and it’s His truth that sets us free.

In this message, we’ll discover what the Bible says about truth and the decisions we need to make as believers about where to set our minds. You’ll learn that truth is simple and easy to find because God has already placed it inside you!

Religion often teaches we’re partly good and partly evil. While God forgives us, He’s waiting for us to change and perform better before He truly accepts us. So when we inevitably fall short, it’s easy to believe God sees us as sinful or wicked instead of good. But believing you’re both good and evil is no way to live the Christian life. God has done something incredible to you at salvation. There’s more than forgiveness and Heaven: He’s made you new! In this message, we’ll take a look deep inside at the believer’s inner being. It’s a place where there’s no mixture of darkness and light. My hope is you’ll be convinced that you’re now good – not partly good or being made good someday, but good – because God has made you good!
