The Curse Sin Brings Part 2

The way sin is so often portrayed in today’s world you’d think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread! What they don’t often tell you are the catastrophic results! So today on Abounding Grace we pause to consider the Results of Sin, as described for us in Genesis chapter three. We’ll also be encouraged that there is a way out, and a way to be an overcomer!

Satan is the father of lies, and he’s been up to the same old tricks since the garden. He questions God’s Word, casts suspicion, and even contradicts what the Lord has said. He’s a liar. And today we’ll gain a greater understanding of how he works, as well as how to overcome the temptation to sin.

Pastor Ed Taylor is taking us through Genesis, verse by verse, right now. In chapter three, sin enters the world. Eve falls for Satan’s lie, and Adam willfully disobeys God too. And through it all we get pretty good idea of how Satan operates. His methods really haven’t changed through the years, so it would be a good idea to see how he attacks and how to mount a defense.
