Rabbi K.A. Schneider: Shalom, beloved. This is Rabbi Schneider bringing to you once again one of my favorite scriptures in the Word of God. David said this, recorded in the Word: "Your gentleness"—he was speaking, of course, to Father God—he said, "Your gentleness has made me great."
That touches me so much. So many times that God could have struck us down. So many times that God could have heavily judged us for our sin. But he loves us. He understands why we do what we do. His favor's on us. His compassion's upon us, and he deals with us in gentleness.
Father, we thank you today for your love, and we say like David, "Your gentleness has made us great."
