Could your own perspective be keeping you from seeing what God is revealing?
Rabbi K.A. Schneider: Shalom, my holy brothers and sisters, this is Rabbi Schneider. When Yeshua came, the vast majority of the Jewish leaders missed Him. They couldn't perceive that Yeshua was the Son of God because they had no context for this on their theological grid. They didn't think that there was room for God to have a Son. And because they were locked into their own perspective, they missed the Son of Man who was the Son of God when He came.
What's the application? We need to be careful that we're not missing things that the Lord wants to reveal to us because we're so locked into our own theological boxes that we don't have room to let in anything new that God wants to show us. Let's be humble. Let's be open. Let's stay expectant, and let's be authentic before God and ourselves.
