"If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." In the age that we're living in, we don't hear a lot about picking up our cross and denying ourselves. More often we hear messages about how we can be happy, how we can be satisfied, how we can lead our best life now.
But beloved, the true path to salvation is the path of following Jesus who picked up the cross to do the Father's will. It was painful. He sweat drops of blood in the process. I want to encourage you, follow the voice of the Spirit in your life and God's word. He's going to call you to do things that might be hard, but it will lead you into life. At the age of 20 years old, the LORD appeared to him, supernaturally, as Jesus, the Messiah.
