God’s Heart for Israel
God’s heart for Israel still carries a promise the world cannot erase.
Rabbi K.A. Schneider: Shalom, my holy brothers and sisters, this is Rabbi Schneider. So much is going on in the world right now politically with Israel and the nations that surround them. Of course, the United States is involved, and there are lots of things that are happening that are causing many to become anti-Semitic.
But I want to remind us of Genesis 12:3. We read this: The Lord is speaking here to Abraham: "And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."
I want to remind us all that Israel and the Jewish people have a special place in God's heart. There are reasons that we can find to hate people and dislike people, but we have to understand God's call remains upon Israel and the Jewish people, and we need to support that.
