The Lord Stands With You, Part 1

Today on a Daily Walk that’s where we find the apostle Paul. In Acts chapters 22 and 23 the apostle Paul finds himself standing trial before the Sanhedrin. He’s been attacked by those who resented his message. Though he’s falsely accused and been shamefully treated he patiently tries to win them over - but to no avail. And every step of the way, the Lord stood with him. Pastor John Randall wants us to know today, that the Lord will be with and help us too!

Today on a Daily Walk we will hear the Apostle Paul’s testimony and defense before the Jews. Paul is finally given his long awaited opportunity to share Jesus with his fellow countrymen. It’s not an easy crowd to talk to. And pastor John believes we can learn a great deal from it to help us share our faith and testimony.

As we return to Acts today on a Daily Walk, we meet up with the Apostle Paul who you might say is convening a pastor’s conference of sorts. Paul gathers the elders of the Church at Ephesus and encourages them in their calling. Perhaps you need some encouragement in your calling? We all do from time to time… even pastors!

In Acts chapter twenty we receive Paul’s farewell address and a powerful example of ministry. Paul was the sort of guy who didn’t hold anything back or water down the Gospel message. He remained focused on Christ and God’s plan for His life, regardless of what others thought or did. And wouldn’t you agree we need men and women like that today!

Paul was faithful, consistent, a humble servant, and endured in the midst of difficulty. What a great model for us to consider and follow.

Today on a Daily Walk we finish up Acts nineteen and receive a study on idolatry and observe quite an uproar in Ephesus.

On today’s broadcast we’ll get back into Acts chapter nineteen and the account of the apostle Paul’s third missionary journey in the city of Ephesus. It was there that God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul. But the devil was at work there too. And the devil is still at work today seeking to keep you from either coming to the Lord or growing in the Lord.
