Even the apostle Paul experienced a battle between the flesh and the spirit.  Every believer does.  But there is a right and wrong way to fight, and today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall shows us how to be victorious in this battle within.

At the moment of our conversion to Christ, a battle begins!  It’s a battle within us, between the flesh and the spirit.  And maybe, you feel as though the flesh is coming out on top more often than not!  Is there a way to be victorious in the battle?  I’m happy to say there is, through the strength and power of God.  Today on a Daily Walk we’ll take a look at this internal war, and see how to be overcomers in Christ.

What are we to make of all of those laws on the left side of our Bibles?  Like many of the Jews in the first century, some today are under the impression that a person must keep those laws in order to be saved.  Not only is that impossible, but it misses the purpose of the law.  As we’ll learn today on a Daily Walk, the law is designed to reveal our sin and drive us to our Savior!

Many believers are still living under the Old Testament law. They’re still trying to live up to a standard that is unattainable, instead of recognizing the law was intended to show us we can’t keep it. And we need a Savior who not only can save guilty sinners but also bring about holiness in our lives.  Today on a Daily Walk we’ll recognize this tendency we have so we don’t miss out on the true purpose of the law!  Pastor John Randall is in Romans chapter seven.

Who or what is the Lord or master of your life? Stick around and make that assessment with us here on a Daily Walk. Romans six provides clear insight on how to be free from the servitude of sin by coming into the service of the Lord. Only there, is true freedom found.

We’ve learned previously in this epistle that we’re saved by grace, and God will forgive us no matter what we’ve done if we’ll turn to Him in faith. But does that mean, once we become saved, that we can continue in a lifestyle of sin?  Is it ok to willingly engage in sin occasionally, knowing that forgiveness will be offered?  The apostle Paul answers that for us in Romans chapter six.
January 20, 2020
As we open Romans chapter six, we come to realize the believer in Christ is dead to sin and no longer to be controlled by it!  We’ll not only hear why that’s the case, but how the change occurs today on a Daily Walk.

We’re about to see why don’t we live in a continual lifestyle of unrepentant sin, here on a Daily Walk.  How concerned are you about holiness?  What does God have to say about it all?  That’s what we’ll focus in on today with pastor John Randall. We’ll find great insight on sanctification and holiness in Romans chapter six!

Pastor John Randall will be finishing up Romans chapter five, where the apostle Paul compares and contrasts the effects of Adam’s decision, with Christ’s decision.  Both life changing decisions have impacted us in more ways than one!
January 15, 2020
In Romans chapter five we spotlight what we all should know is true, that everyone sins and everyone dies. But we’re also told why.  Pastor John is quick to admit this passage isn’t easy to interpret, but it paints a wonderful contrast between the life of Adam and the life of Jesus.  In the minutes ahead of us, you’re going to see how the decisions they made had an impact on all of us!
