I think you’d agree, life doesn’t always make sense! At times we wonder why good people suffer, and why God would allow a virus to spread around the world leading to such devastation!  We find some questions in the book of Job that are being asked today.  And so we thought we’d take you to Job chapters one and two, not necessarily to answer all of your questions, but rather to help you see what God is wanting to produce in your life through the present difficulty.

If you’ve been wresting over some questions during the Covid 19 Pandemic, you’re not alone!   Perhaps you’re among the many who are wondering why would God allow our economy to tank, people to be unemployed, and to get sick and even die?  Pastor John Randall is going to take us to Job chapters one and two today to help us deal with the problem of pain and suffering.

You’re in for a real treat today, as pastor John Randall will be sitting down with Don Stewart discussing the news of today with an eye on Bible prophecy. You’ll quickly see the world is being prepped for what the Bible predicted so long ago.  What should Christians be keeping their eye on?  Could we be in the midst of a revival right now?  Join pastor John and Don Stewart as they talk about this and more.

You may recall we had Don Stewart with us a few weeks back.  We received such a tremendous response to those programs, that we’ve decided to invite Don back with us.  Over the next two programs pastor John and Don Stewart will carefully consider the news of the day, looking at it all from a biblical point of view.  I think it will all serve to help you move from fear to courage.

Today on a Daily Walk we’ll see that pride is a problem in the church today. We’re just as capable of falling into sin as the next guy!  And that’s why we need to lean on the Lord and draw on His grace. Pastor John Randall highlights the danger of overconfidence in this study based in First Corinthians chapter ten.

In a culture full of moral depravity and sinful activities, the apostle Paul encouraged the Corinthian believers concerning the issue of temptation. His writings remind us today that, yes everyone gets tempted, but God will always provide a way out for us.  We’re going to look at the dangers of overconfidence, as the apostle Paul looks back on Israel’s history.

Everyone knows that athletes must subject themselves to physical training in order to prepare their bodies to be successful in their chosen sport. As we’ll see in our study of First Corinthians nine, the apostle Paul uses this as an illustration to explain that the Christian life requires training and discipline.

There are ministry opportunities all around us, from a neighbor who is sick, to a person who is lonely and isolated right now due to Covid 19. And if you’re a Christian, I hope it’s your desire to be involved in the ministry!  But the question we bring before you today on a Daily Walk is how can we be effective in the ministry?
May 15, 2020
What would you be willing to give up or sacrifice to reach the lost or to be effective in the ministry God has you in?  Would you let go of a liberty or right that you have?  It’s good for us to think about these things and we’ll do just that today on a Daily Walk.  We’re in the middle of pastor John Randall’s series in First Corinthians, and in chapter nine we’re challenged to be sacrificial just as the apostle Paul was.

Here in America we focus a great deal on our rights and freedoms. But as we’ll see today on a Daily Walk sometimes as ministers of Jesus we’ll need to give up some of our rights and liberties for very good reason.  Pastor John Randall has us consider First Corinthians nine and a time when the apostle Paul gave up his rights as an apostle for the sake of his fruitfulness and effectiveness in the ministry.
