A Brighter Day, Part 2

God hears and answers our prayers. At times He’s say Yes and other times No! And sometimes there’s a delay. Maybe like many today you grow impatient at such times. It’s important to realize there’s a good reason for the delay, and that comes to light through our study in Daniel ten on a Daily Walk. We’ll get a peak into the spiritual war that takes place all around us.

How close are we to the coming of Jesus? That question is being asked this year, in large measure. All the signs around us seem to be pointing to it happening very soon. But before He does there will be a 7 year tribulation period that involves a world leader who will rise to power, and be the embodiment of evil. He’s known as the Antichrist and will be empowered and directed by Satan. And together they’ll form an army to come against God… and lose. This is predicted in the book of Daniel as we’ll see today on a Daily Walk.

In Daniel chapter eight Daniel is given an amazing vision. He sees a Ram, a Goat, and then a little horn! The Lord gives us the interpretation here too, so we’re not left to wonder what this is all about.

Today on a Daily Walk, the prophet Daniel is given a dream where he sees several empires and one of them will be under the rule and reign of the antichrist. This will be followed by the fifth and final Kingdom, when Jesus comes again to establish His rule and reign.

Don’t you love those stories or movies where the good guys win in the end? But in many cases getting to that end can be treacherous. Daniel knew this all too well and perhaps you’re learning this important lesson in life, as well. Open your Bible to Daniel chapter six. Daniel has been setup, and persecuted for praying to His God. It appears that he’s going to die a horrible death because of it in a Lion’s Den. But God had other plans.

And we even see that here in America, especially in recent months.
