Day 6- Strengthening Your Faith Through Prayer
Jack Graham: Dear Lord, we know your promise that if we call to you, you will answer and tell us great things that we have not known. Your word gives us assurance and confidence that when we, your children, pray, you, our heavenly Father, listen. We ask for your forgiveness for not praying as often, as fervently, or as boldly as we should. We ask for your forgiveness for saying that you answer our prayers but not praying as we ought to pray.
God almighty, creator of the universe, the fact that you are interested in hearing from us and answering our prayers according to your perfect will for our lives is truly amazing. Remind us we are not heard because of the language of our prayers, the length of our prayers, or the logic of our prayers, but because of the value you place on our lives, which were redeemed by the blood of your precious Son, Jesus. We pray this day to be transparent in our prayers to you, so that we might know you better and you can meet us at the point of our deepest needs. Amen.
