What happens to us, Christians, after we have an encounter with Jesus so immense it changes the course of our eternity that we lose our sense of who He is and why He came?

Because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, He tore the veil that separated sinful man from the Holy and Righteous One; Jesus made a way for me to approach God as my Father. What a beautifully life-changing truth!

Everything in this world is fading away, but GOD will endure forever.

While we are still on earth, Christians will always feel the tension between living in the present and spending eternity with their Savior. The Lord put eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:14), but He also desires that while we are still here, we continue to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) and be a light in this dark world (Matthew 5:16).

Although He allowed tragedy to strike, He never left me forsaken.

It is a brave decision to look out for the lives of others and to protect a community. Sacrifice is truly seen in the lives of those who choose to work in law enforcement branches and their families.

No matter what we are going through, the Lord is on His holy hill.
