When difficulties and unknowns surround us, our minds can race, and our hearts can pound. However, there is peace waiting for us at all times found in the Holy Spirit.

Throughout the Bible, the concept of waiting is expressed in many different ways.

The Lord is more than able to handle our weariness. Today as we come to Him in prayer, may we be reminded that He cares about us and desires for us to have strength from Him

God has called us to love Him and to love others. In 1 John 4:7-8, He so kindly reminds us that we are to love each other because love is from Him, and when we love, we show that we have been saved by Jesus and know Him.

It is extremely easy to pray for those in our families, our friends, and for ourselves. However, it is a whole new ballgame when we realize that Jesus called us not only to pray for those who we like but also for our enemies.

Do we live strong and courageous? Or do we live so comfortably and content that we pass by where God is directing us?

As believers, our speech should be as one who has been forgiven.

The process of patience refines us and takes us on a journey of learning to trust in God.

We want our friends and family to believe in God— to say yes to the unconditional love of Jesus. But their hearts may be distant from God for whatever reason.
