If you’ve been set free by Jesus, Easter is a wonderful time to thank God for His promises that were fulfilled through His Son. In His own words, Jesus tells us four life-changing ways His resurrection sets us free.

Have you ever asked yourself if you will ever be healed or whole? Life has a way of breaking you down. Sin had a way of destroying you. When we look at our world and even our personal lives, this side of eternity can feel hopeless.

As we go participate in our many family traditions, celebrations, and gatherings, let's not forget to point our kids to the true source of our joy.

Today, I invite you to join with me in praying together to intentionally reflect in three areas. Our sin, His greatness, and His Spirit’s leading.

Biblical compassion exudes kindness, extends forgiveness, is humble and patient, and bears one another’s burdens (Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:1, Galatians 6:2). Essentially, it is selfless.

St. Patrick’s Day reminds me God sees me. I hope we all take a moment to remember our ancestors, our history, and our journey thus far with God, remembering every layer of our story has been written purposefully by a God who loves us more than we can comprehend.

You may not be the next Billy Graham sharing the gospel with millions. But you may be called instead to give loving attention to just one other person.

God’s ways are not always our ways, but his ways are always the best. Let’s go to God now and ask him to give us a glimpse of his perspective.

To truly see a glimmer of heaven, we look to the Bible to give us glimpses of it through the eyes of those who have beheld it, including Stephen, who saw it as he was being stoned to death, and the rich man looking over from Hades. As well as the Apostle John, who received a personal tour of heaven.
