Being created in God’s image, we have a plan and purpose for our lives (Genesis 1:27, Psalm 57:2, Jeremiah 29:11). That promise should give us hope and the confidence to step into the future, so why do we remain stuck? The answer is clear. We are in a spiritual battle.
Though we may feel broken and alone, we must know that God alone can heal our pain. He can bring us clarity on how we can show up better for those in our lives. He can also bring people into our lives that will reflect His love towards us.
So often in my parenting journey, I have not chosen wisely. But God is gracious and repoints my mind and heart to his ways. His ways are the right ways to reach my parenting goals.
God, help us to move toward people who need our help, love, and care, taking action to comfort them.
What does it mean to have childlike faith to become like little children in the kingdom of God? How do we achieve it? What steps do we need to take to walk in it? As adults, how do we move past all the voices that have been telling us throughout our lives that we need to “grow up” and “stop behaving like a child”?
Have you experienced, or are you facing right now, some uncertain life changes? Are you dealing with feelings of fear, discontentment, or discomfort through it, like I am?
Biblical heroes had seasons that didn’t make sense at the time, but God had a purpose in it all, and he does for us, too.
Today, we are going to take time to pray to stay grounded in moments of success. We have seen many examples of what to do and not to do within the pages of Scripture. May we remember that all of the glory belongs to the Lord
Irrational fear and anxiety are among the many ways the enemy tries to shackle us. As believers, we serve the One true King. His ways, plans, and purposes for our lives will never be thwarted. We have to trust Him because He knows best.
