As my family fell in love with our dessert devotional time, we also fell in love with worshipping the Lord together.

We feel the need to hide, to wallow away because we feel undeserving of grace. When we buy into this lie that we are unlovable and unforgivable, we get stuck. Our sin becomes us.

Going to church together as a married couple is a beautiful blessing. Things might feel difficult now, but know there is a solution in Jesus. Go to Him in prayer today and release all your stress to Him. 

And by the time evening rolls around, what started as an unintentional overlook of my time with Jesus quickly turns into a day where my weaknesses plagued every situation.

If we wish to know love in our lives, we need to embrace Jesus and embrace the cross. 

I don’t know about you, but the gift of God’s constant presence is a gift that, when acknowledged, blesses me beyond measure.

Just think, wouldn’t it be amazing – on those days when our kids start to go off-track – if God sent a godly person with the right word, at the right time, to help them get back on God’s track?

When we approach God, we need to be in a good place with our loved ones and community in any way that we can control. It’s our spiritual duty to build each other up and to be peacemakers whenever we can.

Extend the invitation. Open your doors. Let people in. Let people see. Let people know the heart of God is evident within the walls of your home.

Rest in the Lord’s words that there will be rejoicing in the future. Now is our time of grief, but our grief will not last forever.
