Devotional Archives for Your Daily Prayer

We may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, but we are fearless because a power greater than death walks with us.

God doesn’t want us to be our own worst enemy, nor does He want us to be our biggest critic. Instead, He wants us to have hope in Him that He will work in our lives to bring about our good.

Instead of dwelling on our perceived shortcomings, let’s fix our eyes on the One who formed us and find our worth in His unchanging love.

We should desire to be believers who are marked by the testimonies of God.

Prayer is rooted in love, so when we feel discouraged with our prayers, the task before us returns to the start of faith: our love for Jesus.

What might God want to help you release so you can see Him more?

Though my life has changed with a new hardship, God’s plans for me will not be thwarted.

And it leaves its mark, like ashes of grief, in the deepest parts of our souls, where no one but God can really see.

Obedience calls us out of comfort and into the places where God creates new things within us.

His perfect love doesn’t waver in the face of our brokenness. Instead, it meets us right where we are, casting out our fears and offering the courage to risk love again.
