Only God Can Save You Now - 2b-1

We have all been wronged at some point in our lives. And, our response to this injury bears witness to the fact that there is evil in this world. The damaging effects of sin not only hurts us, but all of creation as well. There is no greater sin, however, than the one we have inflicted on the heart of God. For this reason, God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross. His sacrifice conquered evil, and broke the destructive power of sin. Only God can give us salvation. It is something we could never do for ourselves. We are lost, and our lives adrift apart from Him. We are not capable of reforming our sin nature. So, God and His mercy came to restore the broken fellowship, through the blood of the cross.

Daze Of Deception
Jesus warned that deception would grow worse as we draw nearer to the end times, saying, “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). Distinguishing truth from error has become increasingly challenging—even in the church. We live in a time when falsehoods assault us from every direction. Packaged with just enough truth to make them appear trustworthy, these counterfeits have grown more and more difficult to detect and avoid. Living in the Daze of Deception explores the many ways error is masquerading as truth—and you’ll learn how you can discern the difference.
