The earthquake of divorce doesn’t just affect the spouses involved. Shock waves are felt by everyone who knows the couple, especially their children. Sharon Hersh, author of Begin Again, Believe Again, talks about the divide that came between her and her daughter as her daughter reached adulthood. It culminated with them not speaking to each other for a year. Sharon explains how she began to rest in the notion that God was in the circumstances and would work it out in His own time. Brenda explains how the 24-hour care her daughter required sapped the life out of her family and lead them to nearly total exhaustion. But as she prayed for help, God stepped in with respite, and the idea of Jill’s House, a full-service, overnight respite center, was born. Joining Brenda is Jill’s House President, Cameron Doolittle.Download Transcript
