Faith Exchange

I've just been, in the prisons in, Mississippi for three days, working with the people who are on death row, working with the people who, have life sentences. I'm always amazed when I talk to these men. they seem so gentle and easy going, easy to talk to.

they've got families and kids and they're talking about all these things and then I don't usually ask, but they bring it up. I'm in here 'cause I was running pills or I was doing this. And I said, okay, so when do you get out? And they're like, oh yeah, but I also have a I have a charge for murder. It's like the wildest thing I ever saw, the wildest thing when you start really dealing with, the whole range of human experience, not that I'm dealing with the whole range there's certainly some things that I'm not encountering in my life, but the more I go back into those situations, the more I run into the same people.

And we have conversations. we talk about a lot of different things. And the more I realize how everybody's, life is, really enhanced by good conversation, listening and everybody getting a chance to give voice to what they're thinking about and then being consistent, making sure that the conversation continues.
