On our last broadcast, we heard about Paul’s call to the ministry. Today we pick up in Galatians chapter one! We’ll be encouraged to learn that despite the many obstacles to fulfilling our primary call, our hesitancy, and the influence of others, God is very patient. We’ll hear a true story illustrating that great truth.

As evidenced by the popularity of certain TV shows courtroom dramas can captivate human imagination. Our story today takes place in similar surroundings. Earlier this week we learned about the Levirate marriage, where the closest of kin marries a widow in order to honor the dead husband and carry on his line. Boaz serves in this section of Scripture as a symbol of what Jesus would later do as the Redeemer for believers.
