It’s proof of salvation by grace, and of God’s love. Yet it’s offensive! Why? And how should we respond to the offense of the cross? The New Testament book of Galatians addresses the issue of coming under authority and being, “all in.” In chapter one we’re told of Paul’s first seventeen years of ministry. Last time we began to consider Luke’s account of Paul’s ministry and how it served as a legal brief in Paul’s defense before Caesar – whom Paul was subject to.
