Happy New Year and welcome to 2026. Today we examine what's next in this new year with Dr. Larry Spargimino, Dr. Kenneth Hill, Josh Davis, and Clayton Van Huss. Friends, you still have time to order our brand new Beyond the Veil calendar.

Each year we produce a calendar to raise funds for our prison ministry. This special ministry provides Bibles, prayer, and encouragement to prisoners across the country. Created by Marginal Mysteries host Micah Van Huss, the Beyond the Veil 2026 calendar includes stunning imagery that you have to see, a guide for reading through the Bible in a year, the major Jewish holidays, and for every calendar ordered, we will provide two free calendars for incarcerated folks through our Onesimus prison ministry.

This calendar is truly perfect for daily encouragement, Bible study inspiration, or as a meaningful gift. Order your 2026 Beyond the Veil calendar today when you call 1-800-652-1144. What's next in 2026? What might be on the horizon for our world? What Bible prophecy could be fulfilled? Further, what plans does Southwest Radio Ministries have to address the issues facing our world in this new year? To answer these questions, Dr. Kenneth Hill is joined by Dr. Larry Spargimino, Clayton Van Huss, and Josh Davis for a very special round table discussion. Will you prayerfully consider partnering with us as we begin this new year? Here's Dr. Hill.

Kenneth Hill: God is still on the throne, and prayer changes things. With those words that have been used for over 90 years now, we open this meeting of our Watchman on the Wall broadcast from Southwest Radio Church. Wow, my friends, can you believe it? It's 2026 now. January 1st, here it is, we have it before us. We've been asked, along with some of our dear friends, to come to the microphones and talk about what God is having done through this ministry for the year 2026. But before that, let's have Clayton Van Huss come to the microphone and open our meeting together in prayer. Brother Clayton.

Clayton Van Huss: Father, we come to you today. Lord, we come to you with thanksgiving. You have given us a wonderful year in 2025. You have just blessed, and you have helped with our listeners and with ourselves here in the ministry, Lord. You have thoroughly blessed, and we praise you for your goodness, Lord, because you are in control. Yes, you are still on the throne.

We pray for the upcoming year, Lord. We pray that you would be with us and that you would guide us to prostrate ourselves before you and to come to you with all of the things that are going on, with all of the exciting things that are coming up. We ask that your hand would be in it and that we would follow your guiding—both the people here working in the ministry, but also, Lord, our listeners out there who partner with us. We do pray that you be with all of us in the coming year and that what we do would bring glory to yourself. We ask all of this in the name of your son, Jesus. Amen.

Kenneth Hill: Amen. Thank you very much. Dr. Spargimino is with us as well. Brother Larry, give greetings to our listeners, please.

Larry Spargimino: Yes, it's so wonderful to be here at the mic. I've been in this position for many, many years. It's always exciting every time.

Kenneth Hill: Well, it is this year because of so many things that God has prepared us for in 2025. My goodness, there are so many things going on. Brother Josh is with us today. He does all sorts of things, just got back last month from Israel. Had a good trip, had an abundance of opportunities over there to learn new things. We may have to call on that as we go. All right, Brother Josh, lead us off.

Josh Davis: Yes, I just want to wish everyone a happy 2026. It's exciting to see what God is going to do. Every new year is a new opportunity to see amazing things from the Lord. I think about the words of the Apostle Paul as he wrote in the book of Philippians chapter 3 verse 13. He said, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended." In other words, I've not yet arrived.

The Apostle Paul always had this forward-looking vision that even as strong of a Christian as he was, he said there's something out there that I am continuing to pursue. It's not really a something, it was a someone. It was the Lord Jesus Christ that he was following after. He said, "This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

As we enter into this new year 2026, we're excited to see what God's blessings will be, but we're more excited to have a new opportunity to walk with the Lord by faith as we enter into this brand new year.

Kenneth Hill: Indeed, that's exactly what we're doing. We're walking by faith, and that is the way that every follower of Jesus Christ is supposed to go forward. We go forward in faith. We may not understand exactly what all is going on. We may be taught some new things as time goes by, but it is indeed a pleasure to be working with the Lord Jesus Christ. At his direction we're working, and we're seeing God bring to pass many wonderful things. All right, Brother Spargimino, what's on your heart? Tell us what is going to happen by plan, that is, if the Lord has not returned for his own.

Larry Spargimino: Thank you, Kenneth. It's certainly a privilege. As we think about 2026, there's a big question, and that is: what would get all the nations of the world to come together as the prophetic Word tells us is going to happen? At one time, many of the nations in the Middle East and Central Asia were divided. And yet, many prophecies like Ezekiel 38 and 39 show these nations coming together and attacking Israel. They are friends, and we're thinking, how could that possibly be? What brought them together in a coalition of nations? Islam. They all had a common religion.

The Bible tells us that in the future, all the nations of the world will forget their religious differences, their cultural differences, and come together. I think, what possibly could do that? Well, as I've been looking at the scripture and as I've been looking at society and our world, I realize what probably will happen is we will all, as humanity, face a common enemy.

I think the rash of sightings of UFOs and UAPs is very significant. Those abbreviations stand for unidentified flying objects and unidentified aerial phenomena. I think if humanity found out about an invasion from outer space of highly intelligent beings—beings far superior to us in every way—that would bring us together. I think it would be frightening. We're pretty smart, we're human, we think we know it all. But to find out something of this sort, of this magnitude, if a UFO landed on the front of the White House...

Moreover, if these beings espoused a new religion, far different than the Judeo-Christian faith—and we know some of the channelings have been religious in nature and very anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-Christian—well, if this new religion would quickly grow in monumental proportions, we would have the whole planet coming together. I look at Second Thessalonians 2 verse 9. It says, "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders." So, I think the UFOs, the UAPs, the verification from the military—I mean, they're not mad, they've got radar and so forth—I think this is going to be a big thing in our world and also in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

So, on the one hand, I'm encouraged by the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Of course I'm encouraged, but really it's kind of frightening when you think of the impact these little beings, whatever they are, however they come, will have on the human race. I think that will bring us together. We will see we have a common enemy.

Kenneth Hill: Well, as we think about the year 2026, we also need to think about the way that the Christian people, and people generally, are trying to live. Many people in the United States have three jobs trying to just pay their bills. Others are living lavishly, and it seems like, "Wait a minute, why can't I live that way?" is the question that goes out.

So, we're probably going to be facing some unrest. If it increases as it looks like it will, we'll probably have some unrest that is beyond the measure of unrest that we've seen in previous years. The problem that seems to hang around my neck is that people have forgotten their basic understanding of who they are. They've come to think that they are entitled to something that they're going to just get. They can sit down and it'll be provided to them. For some people, I'm sure that's true, but for most of us, we're going to have to work at those jobs to try to pay the bills and have the things that we need. So, unrest I see continuing and getting stronger. Clayton, what about you?

Clayton Van Huss: It's very easy to look at the headlines today and to see all of the evils and the unrest or the uncertainty, the anti-Christ, the anti-godliness that's out there. But you know what I see for 2026? It's opportunities. As believers in Jesus Christ, we can serve God, put away the fear, and be the ambassadors that He has put us on this world to be.

We have these opportunities to move forward. I've been going through a teaching series with my Sunday school class in church, and we've been doing church history. So we've been looking throughout church history at some of the hard times that Christians faced. Then, some of the very dark times that the leadership in the church itself brought. And yet, always throughout, there was a remnant. Always throughout, there were those who served the Lord, those who believed in the Lord, and those who took up the task. They took the work that God gave them, and they did it.

We remember those names. We remember those people who stepped up and made the change that needed to be made, but they did it in the name of Jesus Christ. They did it through the power of Jesus Christ. Yeah, things are dark and things are going to get darker in this world. But for the believer, there is a bright and shining hope, and that hope is Jesus Christ. So I would encourage our listeners, and of course all of us here in the ministry, to take that stand, to do that work, and to honor the Lord in what we do.

Kenneth Hill: Amen. Wow, I really appreciate that word this morning. I have to say that working with Southwest Radio Church and Prophecy in the News, I have come to have a real desire to see Jesus Christ. What I've seen from these ministries that we're a part of that sponsor this broadcast is that there are going to be changes made as Christ prepares His people for His return. Josh, we've allowed ourselves to come this far in the circle of four that are on this broadcast. Tell us if you can, let's bring it down from a world 30,000-foot view and let's bring it to these ministries that we're a part of.

Josh Davis: SWRC and Prophecy in the News, we're excited about what God is going to do in this brand new year 2026. We've got some amazing opportunities on the horizon. We're just praying that God would help us to continue stepping forward by faith. This is a ministry that is driven by faith. We have just come through our Gleanings week for the end of the year 2025, and we have seen God answer some prayers.

But we still encourage people to partner with us because we're taking steps of faith. This is a faith-based ministry. This isn't a ministry that's supported by some large university or denomination or foundation of any kind. It's always been, and it'll always be, a faith-based ministry dependent on our friends who partner with us in prayer, but also financially. So we're grateful to God to have this new year, this new opportunity.

We're excited about some of the ministry plans that we have coming up, some of the special events that are planned for 2026. But I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do in this new year. Two of my favorite verses in the Scripture, if I can take just another minute, Proverbs 3:5 and 6. These are verses that have spoke to me time and time and time again. It seems like at the start of a new year, they really come back to me and cause me to think and to reflect on my walk with the Lord.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding." I don't know about you guys, but that's really been a challenge in my life of faith for decades is not leaning on my own understanding, not trying to figure it all out myself, but trusting in the Lord with all of my heart, not leaning on my own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. The more that we know God, the more that we can trust Him because there's never been a mountain, there's never been a problem that God can't overcome.

So we can walk by faith as we enter into this new year. Yes, it's filled with uncertainty, but as Clayton was saying, as the child of God, we have hope because we are walking by faith with this great God, the creator of the universe. So I'm excited for the brand new year. I'm excited to see what God is going to do. We know as Christians that we're on the winning side with our Lord Jesus Christ. We shouldn't live in fear. We shouldn't have to hide behind the curtains or anything else, knowing that we are serving the Lord Jesus Christ, the conquering King of the universe. So I'm excited for what this new year will hold. I believe the next event on God's prophetic calendar is the Rapture of the church, and so we have that to look forward to as our blessed hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Kenneth Hill: Amen. Well, thank you so much for the word there. Brother Spargimino, what is going to occupy your time in the ministry of SWRC in this new year?

Larry Spargimino: Well, I'm going to be reporting the good news. As you know, I certainly believe that there is revival coming to us. I love Acts 8 verse 1. It tells us of a wave of persecution that came upon the saints and all the believers, and everyone was scattered except the apostles. Everyone was scattered. What happened? They went everywhere preaching the gospel.

Just think of that. That's what I like to think of as Satan's overreach. He thought he was doing a good job. He wanted to thwart the gospel. He tried to stop it from happening, but his plan had failed. I think it's a wonderful thing. I think of the murder of Charlie Kirk as another example of Satan's overreach. Satan meant it to bring great harm, but it had just the opposite effect. Charlie Kirk had an amazing number of supporters, but we did not know that in full sense or in full term until after he was murdered.

We see a lot of persecution today, especially in communist countries and Islamic countries. But the way the gospel is spreading reminds me, yes, there is persecution, but there is revival coming. We, as an equipping ministry—that's really what we do, we teach the truth, we teach the prophetic word, we teach about missions, that's one of our great loves—I think we are going to see, number one, a lot of persecution, but number two, many, many victories.

The Bible tells us that when Satan was cast down to earth, he was very angry because he knew that he had a short time. So I do believe that, yes—I'm not speaking about revival in terms of the millennium when there's world peace—but I'm speaking of revival in terms of great growth in the church, lots of persecution, but lots of people going to heaven all because of what I hope to be doing as the Lord gives me breath and gives me years, and you also, Dr. Hill. Because we know that Jesus loves little people, big people, black and white, whatever they are. I think we're going to see, number one, a lot of resistance, but number two, the resistance comes because we're doing what we should be doing.

Kenneth Hill: And that's all the more reason that we do the work until Jesus comes. We are looking up, knowing that He's coming soon. I don't know of anything that has to happen that hasn't already happened when it comes to the calling out of the church to be with Christ. Brother Van Huss, what about you in the ministry? Let's bring it down to that, what you're going to be doing in 2026. Are you going back to do some more digging?

Clayton Van Huss: Yes, God willing, be going to dig in Shiloh and I'll be sharing that with the ministry. There's also an opportunity to dig at the Philistine city of Ashdod. So Shiloh, the Ark of the Covenant was there for over 300 years, and then the Philistines took it and they took it to Ashdod where their god Dagon failed.

That's a great thing. Working on some stuff that I'm looking forward to getting out, some video products, but also some books, things for small groups, Sunday schools, textbook sort of thing, showing the historicity of the Scriptures, specifically in the time of the patriarchs.

Kenneth Hill: Those products will be available through SWRC, right?

Clayton Van Huss: That's right.

Kenneth Hill: So you can find that on the website anytime, but we'll be telling you from time to time about what's going on with the products that we produce because it's important. We're here working almost seven days a week, not quite but almost, and almost 24 hours a day but not quite. God's in control of not only our lives and our work, but He's in control of the products that we produce. We trust that what we're producing will increase the understanding of those who watch or read our materials. Josh, what about you? What's going on in the ministry with you this new year?

Josh Davis: I've got a couple of books that I'm working on related to Bible prophecy. Doing exactly what you just said, Dr. Hill, so many people don't really understand some of the basics. So we want to help to shore that up and to do what Clayton is talking about as well, giving some resources that small groups could use, that Sunday school classes could use, but also families and individuals to grow in their understanding of God's Word, especially in the areas of Bible prophecy.

So I'm excited for those resources. I'm excited for the Prophecy in the News television show, which we are all a part of, and the new avenues that God is opening up for that. We are excited to see what He has in store for the ministry as we enter into this new year. We've got all sorts of things that are going to be coming on, and I'm hoping to be a part of all of these things because I enjoy watching these projects come out. It's fantastic to see what God does with them as we produce them and put them out.

Then we hear about people getting saved. We hear about people—we've had letters, emails for the most part but letters—that say, "I've learned this or that or something else that I didn't know anything about until I had your product, your gift, as it were, from us to the people who participate with us." Well, I want to say thank you, gentlemen, for being here, for being a part of this broadcast on the new year, the first day of the new year. I trust that God will bless you abundantly even as He blesses our listeners in these coming days. Brother Josh, would you close our time with prayer?

Josh Davis: Sure, I'd be honored to. Heavenly Father, we come before your presence as we begin this brand new year 2026. We ask that you would fill us with your Holy Spirit so that we may minister more effectively for you. Lord, as we walk by faith into this new chapter of 2026, that you would guide and direct our steps. May our hearts and our minds be in tune with your will and your Word.

We pray for those who do not know you, that this year would be that year that their life is turned around by the amazing gospel of Jesus Christ. To that end, we commit ourselves and commit this new year in your hand. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Kenneth Hill: Amen. Brothers and sisters, rise up and do what God has called you to do. It's going to be a great year.
