The first one for Friday is called Eden to Eternity. What's that about?

Clayton Van Huss: That's taking a look at the sacred spaces of the Bible. I'm talking about the Tabernacle, the Temple, and then, of course, the New Jerusalem and Eden. These are all the same idea going through, manifested in different ways. But we can see throughout history where God sets up an idea and a place.

We have Eden, which is the perfect place where we're supposed to be, and then, of course, the fall and sin messed all that up. But we see in the Tabernacle the imagery of Eden woven in the fabric walls. Then in Solomon's Temple, we see carved in the cedar walls, overlaid with gold, that same imagery of the tree, of cherubim, of flowers and garden, a sacred space.

We see that, of course, in the second temple. We know that historically, but what is the future of that? Looking into what we see in the Bible, the city of New Jerusalem is the same sacred space, but it is the ultimate. It is the goal. It is the returning. So, yeah, that's what that one is about.

Josh Davis: I'm very excited about that because I've been working on a new book, and that's been part of what I've studied. That's sort of the conclusion that I came to with the New Jerusalem. It's that city built foursquare, similar to the Holy of Holies and this eternal Holy of Holies that we see. It's open to everybody, not just to the High Priest, not just on the Day of Atonement, but anytime.

Clayton Van Huss: And look, God is our light there in that city, in that place, in that sacred place.

Also on Saturday, Clayton, you're going to be speaking about Abraham and some of the significance of him. The title is A Patriarch at War. Could you explain a little bit about that?

Clayton Van Huss: A Patriarch at War talks about Abram the Hebrew. In Genesis chapter 14, we read about a coalition of kings from Mesopotamia. We're going to take a look at who those kings were. The chapter goes through Abraham and his private army. We know Abraham was a rich man.

But if he had over 300 men, soldiers born in his own house, I think he was more than just a traveling merchant or a traveling shepherd. If you have 300 and some men in your army, how many people actually live in your household? Likely over a thousand. And the cities of Canaan where Abram is living are not that big.

Abram is more of a king, I think, than just a guy. He's dealing with kings, treaty-ing with kings, and we are going to look at the household of Abram. We're going to look at what he was. There's a term that was used, and that's why we want to talk about Abram the Hebrew, because there's a word that is used in ancient Near Eastern literature that matches very closely with the word Hebrew, and it has a specific meaning.

These are powerful men with armies of soldiers. Wherever Abraham goes, he's making treaties. He's dealing with kings, and we even see maybe some of the nature of some of the treaties. People often ask about Sarah and the relationship there with Pharaoh and with Abimelech, King of Gerar. What does that have to do with being a Hebrew?

These are just things we're going to look at, and we're going to put Abram in his historical location because the Bible is about real people, real places, and real events. We totally see this time period about 4,000 years ago, the Middle Bronze Age. We totally see that in the life of Abraham.

Josh Davis: That's fascinating. Friends, we're just telling you some of the kinds of things that you're going to be hearing at this upcoming Minnesota conference. You may be saying I'm a thousand miles or two thousand miles away from Minnesota, but this is other content that we're going to make accessible to you in a variety of ways going forward. I know that you're sort of in between trips to Israel, and God is opening up some amazing opportunities for you. So thank you for making the time.

Clayton Van Huss: Thank you, Josh. It's a pleasure being here.

Josh Davis: Friends, we were just visiting with Clayton Van Huss. Now we're privileged to be joined in the studio by his brother, Micah Van Huss. Micah, great to be with you again.

Micah Van Huss: Great to be with you, Josh. That's nice to say that the people are privileged to hear me. Did you say that for my brother, too?

Josh Davis: I don't think I did.

Micah Van Huss: Then you are correct. Yeah, we like to give each other a hard time. We're going to be stuck in a vehicle together for several hours as we drive this week up to Minnesota, and we're glad to fellowship with Clayton and the others that will be joining with us.

Josh Davis: But we are excited to be heading to Minnesota for the Prophecy in the News Live event. We're not just talking about that conference on today's segment. We're previewing some of the things that we have coming very soon from Southwest Radio Ministries. Over these next few months, we've got a lot of exciting things in the works. But it says here on the schedule for this upcoming Minnesota conference, Micah, that on Friday you're going to be speaking about Realm of the Dead. Can you tell us a little bit about that?

Micah Van Huss: Absolutely. Realm of the Dead is one of my favorite presentations to give. It's a fascinating topic. One of the primary subjects we cover is what is hell. The word hell does not appear in the original Hebrew or Greek at all. It's kind of an English word put into the modern English translations.

But there's actually three different locations in the underworld in the original Hebrew and Greek. So the study of hell is a fascinating study. We also are going to talk about the giants that are in hell. Believe it or not, Scripture actually mentions directly the giants in three different verses that are in hell.

Why are they in hell? What are they going to be doing in the future? It is a fascinating topic, and I love giving this presentation.

Josh Davis: Now that presentation, correct me if I'm wrong, but you have turned that into a video project. Is that right?

Micah Van Huss: I have. We have a DVD on Realm of the Dead that is from my book, Angels: Eternal War of the Princes. We have two DVDs published for that book, of not only my presentation of it, but it's also heavily edited, with lots of imagery, lots of video clips in there on the Realm of the Dead. The other DVD from my Angels: Eternal book is War of the Princes.

Josh Davis: Okay, friends, so check that out at swrc.com. It's also available as a digital download, and that is two amazing videos that you want to check out from Micah Van Huss. Saturday, coming up this weekend, you're going to be speaking in Minnesota about Mythologies Decoded. That's something very special that you've been working on. Could you explain a little bit about that entire project and about what you're going to be talking about in Minnesota?

Micah Van Huss: Absolutely. Mythologies Decoded is my brand-new book, Mythologies Decoded: Echoes of the Bible. In that book, we study about the world's ancient mythologies. We're not just talking about Roman and Greek mythology, the popular ones. We're talking about Hindu mythology. We're talking about American mythology, Native American mythology, Chinese mythology, South American mythology.

We get into pretty much all the ancient old gods, from Zeus to Quetzalcoatl in Mexico, the Native American stuff, the Chinese stuff. Just fascinating stuff about the mythologies. Believe it or not, there's actually a number of instances in the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts where mythological gods are mentioned by name.

They're not really translated over to the King James, which is what I primarily use. They're not really translated over to the newer English versions by their names, but in the original Hebrew and Greek, these mythological gods' names are in the Bible. We'll talk about that, and that's going to be part of the presentation.

But a big part of the presentation is my study on heaven. So for Mythologies Decoded, I get into the World Tree chapter, which is the next-to-last chapter. We get into the World Tree from Yggdrasil from Norse mythology. It is the tree that connects all the realms from the realm of God to the realm of men, Asgard and Midgard, and the Bifröst bridge that leads to heaven from earth.

But we get into what heaven actually is in our study of Revelation, where Revelation gives us all kinds of stuff about heaven. I can't get into the whole presentation here because we don't have time, but I will just say: fascinating stuff in Revelation about what heaven actually is. When we die, we do not go to heaven. Heaven comes to us.

Josh Davis: Wow, that's a good phrase. Friends, you've heard it first here. Josh Davis: It really is. We are so excited to get to fellowship with you in Minnesota. You're going to be there at this Prophecy in the News Live event. We are so excited to get to see you again and fellowship with you and with our brothers and sisters in Christ who will be joining us there. It says on Friday you're going to be speaking about Shadows of Evil: Origin of the Gods. Could you share a little bit about that?

Mack Dominick: Yes, sir, I sure can. You know, in the Bible, we're given, especially in the Old Testament, names of false gods that were worshipped both by the children of Israel and by surrounding nations. Some of those include Baal, Chemosh, Moloch, Tammuz, the Queen of Heaven, and others that are mentioned in the Old Testament.

The whole premise of my talk is going to be: are these gods real, or were they imaginary? Was a civilization then so primitive that they imagined these spiritual powers that did not exist? Secondly, if they did exist, where did they come from? Thirdly, if they did exist and they more or less disappeared in the Western world—maybe not completely, but for the most part disappeared in the Western world with the spread of the Gospel through the West—what happened to them?

Where did they go? What are they doing? Are they planning to come back, or what is their status, if they are real? That's basically the entire premise of part one and part two, because I will be doing part one of this in my first time of speaking and part two in my second time.

Josh Davis: Now this is information based on your book by the same name, correct? Shadows of Evil?

Mack Dominick: Yes, my book Shadows of Evil is available at Southwest Radio. It covers an entire spectrum of topics, from the ancient gods and then their manifestations. We get into UFOs and the New Age movement, and other aspects of the worship of the gods. I'm very excited about the book, and I'm very humbled, privileged, and excited to be speaking at this conference.

We got to be with him in May with a wonderful conference. He's going to join us in Minnesota for this upcoming conference this weekend. Mark, it's wonderful to talk with you today.

Mark Linsted: Well, thanks for having me on. It's going to be a pleasurable time, I think, in Minnesota to get together and talk about the Word of God and what's going on in the world.

Josh Davis: Absolutely. You're going to be talking about something that I know is near and dear to your heart, something you've done a lot of research on. In fact, you've written a new book that we've told people about right here on Watchman on the Wall before, published by Southwest Radio Ministries’ publication arm, Beacon Street Press. But you're going to be talking about, on Friday afternoon, the location of the Third Temple is not where you think it is. Can you tell us a little bit about your book and about this talk?

Mark Linsted: The title of the book is Lost and Found: Solving the Third Temple Mystery. It was a great study. I really enjoyed my time researching this. It's interesting to look at, as we see this excitement in Israel for the Third Temple to be built. Now it's not only evangelicals who are saying, wow, this needs to happen for the tribulation, and we're seeing some groundwork laid for it.

What an amazing thing we have to say: look at all these things in the news that we see hurtling us toward the beginning of the tribulation, the time of sorrows, the travail. What if there's something been hiding in plain sight for us, what I would call maybe a sign that the tribulation is coming close that we haven't even paid attention to?

That really to me looks like the Temple Mount. I mean, we know in the tribulation time there's got to be a temple. There's going to be sacrifice because we know the Antichrist will stop it. Think about the Temple Mount and what it means to be able to actually build this temple. If you end up destroying the Temple Mount, you'd have a holy war for who knows how long, and we would be staved off another 10, 20, 30 years. Who knows how long that would last?

But if the temple can reside up there almost exactly how it is right now, what would that mean to our timeline for the rapture of the church, for the tribulation to begin, for the seven years to complete, and then on into the millennial kingdom? There's so much in this little topic I think it gets looked over.

We get the sensationalism of the news, and we see Iran is doing this and Turkey's doing that. But we forget about one of the key aspects of prophecy, I think, is the Temple Mount. You know, I've often talked about the stopwatch or the countdown clock of prophecy. You've got Israel as the hour hand and you've got Jerusalem as the minute hand. But the second hand is the Temple Mount. We ought to be watching what's happening up there. I think I've got some great evidence of what might really happen there to really change our perspective on when the rapture and when the tribulation will occur.

Mark Linsted: Yes, it's actually a fascinating topic to see that things that we as Christians believe are signs for the end times—believe it or not, they believe those things in their religious sects as well. They have different outcomes, though. They have different understandings of them.

They have perception that's off from ours, that may not be biblical but maybe based in Jewish orthodoxy or based in Islam itself. There are so many interconnected things that we can see. I think it's important that we see how the other religious sects view what's happening and how we can tie that back biblically and see exactly who's right, who's wrong, and what's going to happen here in the future.

Josh Davis: I'm looking forward to hearing both of these talks from you, and I always enjoy our time of fellowship together. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend in Minnesota.

I really trust that people are going to be really encouraged to dig into their Bibles and be inspired by the bold, courageous faith of both Queen Esther and Mordecai.

Josh Davis: Absolutely. This is something that you came to our studios a few months ago and filmed, and we've produced through Beacon Street Media a DVD presentation. It's available as a DVD, also as a digital download. Larry, you're going to be with us in our Tri-Cities conference coming up in October as well.
