Friends, the signs are all around us. One world economic system, one world religion, one world government. It's all there in the headlines of the day. To help us make sense of it all, each Friday, Josh Davis shares the latest headlines from the end times. Here's Josh with this week's report.

Greetings, fellow Watchmen on the Wall, and welcome to another Headlines from the End Times, showing you how the pieces of God's prophetic puzzle are falling into place just as He has declared in His word. And that's exactly what we see with our first story. Two specific events happening connected with Russia and Iran that show how this Ezekiel 38, 39 coalition could be forming just as God has prophesied in His word. It was written over 2,500 years ago by the prophet Ezekiel, and this end times evasion of Israel that's led by nations like Russia, Iran, and Turkey.

There are some major developments taking place that underscore how these pieces are fitting into place. I'm thankful for the work of Dr. Mark Hitchcock in putting some of the pieces of this puzzle together. I want to rely on some of the information that he shares as well. I'm indebted to his good work in bringing this to our attention. Now, let's first talk about some of the Russian weapons that are being developed and how they are increasing aggression against the Western world, especially against Western Europe and the United States of America.

Well, Vladimir Putin recently made some new claims about weapon systems that are coming online. A recent headline read, "Vlad's Mega-Nuke: Putin tests the world's biggest nuke missile, Satan 2." The story continues that Russia has announced it successfully tested the world's largest nuclear missile as chilling images showed number 10 Downing Street being reduced to radioactive dust. The article continued that in a show of strength to the West, the Kremlin launched the nuclear-capable Sarmat rocket, better known as Satan 2.

Putin hailed the weapon as the most powerful missile system in the world. He also went on to insist that it could not be stopped by Western defenses. He said, "It has the ability to penetrate all existing and prospective missile defense systems." I sort of chuckle as I read that sentence—"all prospective missile defense systems." You see the saber-rattling here by Russia as they're saying, "Look, you cannot stop this, and anything that you want to build to stop this is not going to be able to stop this. You understand the wording that's being used here by Vladimir Putin and by Russia."

Well, he went on to say the total yield of the delivered warhead is more than four times greater than that of any existing most powerful Western equivalent. There was a harrowing graphic appearing to show Downing Street in London, which is of course where the Prime Minister of the UK lives in that famous number 10 Downing Street. It showed the neighborhood was just vaporized as this deadly weapon struck at the heart of the city of London.

Now, here's a few facts about this missile, and I want you to keep in mind, dear friends, much of this information is from Russian sources. So we've got to take it with a grain of salt, and it could be highly exaggerated. I've seen several prophetic ministries talking about this powerful weapon, and we've got to be careful that we do not allow fear to creep in over some missile that's being developed by the Russians or anyone for that matter in the world. And so I don't want to use fear tactics, but I want you to understand at least what they're saying this thing could be capable of to help pull back the curtain on perhaps some of the propaganda that's being used by the Russians in this tactical war that they are positioning themselves into the proper place for.

So they say it's a 208-ton intercontinental ballistic missile. It's launched from a silo at speeds up to 16,000 miles per hour. This missile stands 14 stories tall. Can you imagine that? A 14-story tall missile. Think about a building that tall, and you can see how large this is. They say that it has a range of 22,000 miles. Now, the Earth's diameter is a little bit over 24,000 miles, if memory serves me correctly. So that would make this missile capable of reaching just about any spot in the world depending on where it's launched from within the borders of Russia or one of their allies.

They say that it can cross the North Pole. It can basically penetrate any missile defense system that we have or as Putin famously said, anything that you will have, as if he knows exactly what everybody's going to have. They claim that this ballistic missile, if it's armed with a nuclear warhead, that it could wipe out an area the size of Texas or France. Now again, we've got to take these figures with a grain of salt. There's a lot of experts who say no, no, no, that's impossible no matter what they say. Maybe it could take out a large city, but certainly not the area of the size of the state of Texas or the nation of France.

Now, a lot of this seems to be embellished by Russian propaganda, and I think that's why they picked France and Texas as their examples in the first place, hitting at the UK, hitting at Western Europe, hitting at the United States of America. Some in the West are questioning whether these things will actually be operational by the end of the year as Russia insists it will, and exactly how powerful this weapon really will be is in question as well. Another recent story reveals more Russian saber-rattling with regards to their nuclear weapons. Belarus is in partnership with Russia, and they recently held training exercises involving Russian nuclear weapons.

Now, Belarus sits just west of Russia. It shares a border with Ukraine to its south and Poland to its west and a few other nations surround it as well. And so this is an interesting development as Russia is continuing to push for this nuclear option and trying to remind the world that we are here, we have these advanced weapons, and we're not afraid to use them. That seems to be what they are saying and what they are claiming.

Now, there's another side of the story that connects them to what's happening in Iran. At the same time that they are upping the ante in this arms race, its connections to Iran are strengthening dramatically, writes Dr. Mark Hitchcock. And that's so very true. Russia has been providing Iran with intelligence about the location of American assets in the region and equipping the regime in Tehran with military weaponry in its war against the United States and Israel.

In fact, Dr. Hitchcock reports that Russia is supplying Iran with 5,000 unjammable fiber optic drones to use against the United States. In fact, there was a story recently published that had that headline: "Secret document reveals Russia's plans to aid Iran. Unjammable drones would be used against American forces, according to proposals seen by the Economist." So we understand that Russia has become a main outside player propping up the Islamic regime.

And in a very strange turn of events, it could be the place of refuge for some of the Iranian leaders who are fleeing Iran if it fractures, if the current regime continues to collapse. Now, of course, Israel wants to see that. And Fox News reported recently how the Iran regime power players may eye Russia as a place to escape to just like Assad escaped from Syria and is in Russia as well.

Wouldn't that be interesting? Syria's another one of those players mentioned in Ezekiel 38, 39. And if you have some Iranian leadership that would go there, think about how all of these pieces of this puzzle could be fitting together just as God has prophesied in His word. The Fox News story went on to say, "As military fractures deepen and succession remains uncertain, this Assad model of seeking Russian protection appears increasingly attractive to those at the top. The apparent collapse of high-stakes US-Iran negotiations has intensified fears that senior figures inside Tehran's leadership could flee to Russia, seeking refuge to continue their insurgency and undermine any new regime," an analyst warns in the Fox News article.

The top Iranian leadership doesn't simply plan to flee; they plan to continue working from within Russia to undermine any new, possibly pro-Western or pro-Israel regime that may come into Iran. And that's what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, also told CBS's 60 Minutes. Going back to this Fox News report, the Prime Minister noted that any collapse would dismantle the scaffolding of Tehran's global terror proxy network, also potentially ending Hezbollah's influence in the region. He said, "The whole scaffolding of the terrorist proxy network that Iran built collapses if the regime in Iran collapses."

Friends, if this occurs, this could also be another piece to this prophetic puzzle. You know, Ezekiel 38 specifically states that Israel will be dwelling securely when this coalition attacks. So could we see an Iranian pullback that would lead to temporary peace in Israel? And I've mentioned here before on Headlines from the End Times how there are coalitions at work, and especially with the UAE leaving OPEC, seemingly forming a strengthening partnership with the United States and with Israel. Could we see that coalition begin to transform things in the Middle East? Could this be another piece in this puzzle? It's amazing to think about.

And it's wonderful to be living at this time when we see the signs of the times emerging like they are. Going back to some of Dr. Hitchcock's questions, why would these Iranian leaders flee to Russia? Wouldn't this make them look like cowards, watching this war at a distance instead of standing in the chaos waiting for the coming of the Mahdi? However, in Russia, they not only find protection but also intelligence and resources to sabotage what is happening back in Iran.

And I agree with his analysis on this, and I think that this could lead to the peace that Israel needs—dwelling securely in their land prior to the Ezekiel 38, 39 coalition forming. You see the nations of the north, you see people like Turkey and Russia and Iran, which is Persia, and other nations that are forming this alliance. It's fascinating to think about these things, dear friends, as we see these pieces falling into place.

Let's get back to more Headlines from the End Times, and let's think about—do you ever have that sensation that somebody's watching me? I remember an old Looney Tunes cartoon that began with that question, "Do you ever get the feeling that you're being watched?" Well, there's a multi-university research team that has developed a biometric recognition system that's designed to identify people at—get this—at long distances using not only facial recognition, but also gait and body shape analysis captured from drones and elevated surveillance video.

Now, what is all of that in plain English? Gait is the way that somebody walks, and of course we understand what body shape is all about. But they're compiling databases and letting AI systems learn not just what people's faces look like, but also how people walk and also their body shape. And this information can be captured from a far distance. This system is called Farsite. That's the name of this system. It points towards a broader form of biometric surveillance in which people can be identified even when their faces are partially obscured.

You know, you've got on a hat of some kind and your face is partially covered, maybe even sunglasses. Maybe it's a low-resolution shot, maybe it's far away, maybe they can't see your face—they could still identify you because they're relying on your behavior, on your physical characteristics rather than on your facial recognition alone. Which this could, as the story says, expand the reach of remote surveillance systems. And I don't know about you, but this is a very scary kind of proposition.

Farsite is described in a research paper as a physics-driven whole-body biometric system at a large distance and altitude. In other words, the camera could be high in the sky. It could even—can you imagine just in the foreseeable future things being connected to a satellite that we can't even really perceive is watching us, but it's capturing some of this data. The authors of this paper say the platform is designed for applications including law enforcement, border security, and surveillance.

Oh yeah, and that's just normal, right? We don't have anything to be concerned about, do we? Nothing at all. Now, just think about the implications of these kinds of things and just where the world is truly headed. This system could easily be used by someone like the Antichrist. And again, I'm not trying to use fear tactics here; I'm just trying to get us to think about where we are in today's world and how the tools that someone like the Antichrist could use are here. The technology is here. It's now. It's available. It's on the market. It's right in front of us, and it could be used to control the world like never before.

You see the same technology that they say will set us free or will help keep us safe and secure can also be turned around to control us in a greater way. That's why I bring you information about digital IDs and some of the kinds of progress being made towards a central bank digital currency and those kinds of things. Here's another story talking about climate change, and that's always been peppered into the discussion of globalism as a fear tactic. You know, "We've got to get on board. We've got to make these changes right now. If we don't, Planet Earth is going to go down and go down fast. We've got to pump billions and trillions of dollars into this if we're going to save Planet Earth, if we're going to reverse man-made climate change."

That climate hysteria that has been at times out of control. A recent story points out that the UN climate committee has trimmed back some of their alarmist predictions. They dialed it back. They realized after years of criticism, some of their models have become, quote, "implausible," inquote. There was very little fanfare and knowledge that this even happened in early April.

President Donald Trump got wind of this and began to reverse, as he said, this climate alarmism nonsense just a couple of weeks ago, taking to social media to announce those kinds of things. And so this scientific admission gives his administration an opening to push for systemic reforms. Now, this change comes with an updated model that the UN is now using to predict climate change. The scenario with the greatest warming will show approximately 25 percent less warming by the year 2100 than the previous worst-case scenario model that they had been using.

And so they've dramatically dialed back. Why am I sharing this with you? It's because of the implications of this thing. Every single year, thousands upon thousands upon thousands of people are swept up in this climate hysteria, and I would even go into the millions of people. It's hardly news, as the story continues, that the UN climate bodies are vastly overestimating the effects of climate change. Now, sometimes they have to dial it back even further.

Shockingly, they gave an inaccurate prediction that they later had to retract. In 2007, they said that the Himalayan glaciers could be melted totally away by the year 2035. Now as we stand about 10 years out from that, we realize that is not the case. In 2010, they had to come out and say, "No, that's not true. That was based on some faulty data." And so it's no great feat for a UN scientist to replace this most alarmist prediction with a less alarmist prediction.

But there are a lot of significant aspects to this because of the global influence of this kind of scientific, quote-unquote, "report." A lot of people are using this in academic research to—by the tens of thousands really—and a lot of central banks are using this data to forecast what kind of risks could be on the horizon. "What do we need to predict financially that could come in a few years?" The US government has agencies working with these UN models as the basis for climate predictions and making decisions about the future.

That's why there are massive implications for this kind of decision. It affects academics, it affects economics, it affects governments all around the world. They're building policies and systems based on this quote-unquote "evidence" that they are coming up with, and it's resulting in a lot of policy decisions that are anti-human. It restricts energy production, economic growth, even marital procreation. And that's something that we've got to think about. Some people have decided, "I'm not going to have children."

I remember reading an article a couple of years ago that the author said, "I think it's immoral to have children when there's so much climate change happening." I mean, just imagine the lengths that some people have gone to and the fear that some people are living under when they see these kinds of reports. They treat the UN scientific interpretations as if it's the gospel truth, when in fact the UN has come out now and said, "No, we were way off. We're dropping it down by 25 to 45 percent." And that's a big, big number, dear friends. It's not like it's just small change; that is a big number.

You see, climate alarmism is big, big business. There's efforts underway to raise trillions of dollars in an attempt to reduce Earth's temperature by changing the way that people live. And sometimes I'm concerned that greed and power-hungry people are getting behind these movements, seeing ways that they can make a buck or position themselves to be in a better place to take advantage of other people, to get their products sold in certain markets, or to be able to influence the world in the way that it's going.

So this is something we certainly need to keep our eyes and ears open to, and we want to continue bringing this kind of information on every episode of Headlines from the End Times. Ultimately, though, we keep in mind what we've said here at Southwest Radio Ministry for decades, and that is: God is still on the throne and prayer changes things.
