Narrator: Recent headlines reveal spiritual deception is growing worldwide as the end time system of worship comes into sharper focus. A Christian college student in Kentucky was fired from her job for answering fellow employees' questions biblically. The Pope congratulated the new Archbishop of Canterbury, bringing his beliefs and motives into question.
Plus, today is a landmark day for the European Union's entry and exit system, making biometric border crossings required. All this and more coming up right now on today's Headlines from the End Times with Josh Davis.
Josh Davis: Greetings, fellow watchmen on the wall, and welcome to another Headlines from the End Times. The first couple of stories I want to share with you today reveal how the end times spiritual mindset is working and advancing in our age.
We first go to Louisville, Kentucky, and the story of a young college Christian lady who stood firm on her biblical faith and was fired from her job as a result. Miss Rogers, a sophomore at the Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky, was recently fired from her job at a local coffee shop after working a shift in which two of her co-workers initiated conversations with her about her Christian faith and her views on marriage and other culturally sensitive topics according to reports.
This is the important component of this story. It's not that she came in and had gospel tracts in her hands and was trying to pass those out and, as some people would say, shove the gospel down everybody's throats while she's working there. She was approached. She was asked questions on her viewpoints and she shared it from scripture. As a result, she was later fired for those beliefs.
I'm going to give you more details to show what is really behind all this. Now, I said she's a student at the Boyce College. That's the undergraduate institution of the Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. By the way, legal teams have filed a discrimination charge with the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on her behalf. That's at work.
But what are some of the details of the story? Well, it goes back to October of 2025 when she worked a shift with two employees she had not worked with before at this local coffee shop. One of those co-workers asked which college she went to. She heard that she attends a Christian school and she asked, "So you're waiting until marriage then?" You know the innuendo that she's implying by that. Rogers said yes. The co-worker seemed to be distressed and said that she had just broken up with somebody.
Later in the same shift, the co-worker continued to ask questions about Rogers' beliefs. And so Rogers states in the complaint, "In response, I respectfully shared about God's design for marriage and sex and that while I don't judge anyone for their decisions, my faith plays a huge role in how I approach the topic and then I seek to honor God with my decisions."
The complaint says that the second co-worker also initiated a conversation about the Bible and mentioned that another employee had made the comment that Christians should share the gospel without judgment. Rogers states, "I agreed. After this, I shared my own testimony with her. I shared how God had saved me and how God had changed my life. And that is God who changes your heart when you become saved."
That co-worker said that she was in a relationship with two other partners and asked if she would have to stop loving them if she became a Christian. Rogers replied, "I respectfully shared my belief that homosexuality is a sin but that we're all sinners and that it's never our place to judge someone else." Well, it was just 12 days later that her employer notified her by text message that she was being terminated from her position because the conversations were unwelcome and offensive to others.
In a text conversation, Rogers pointed out that the others had initiated the conversations, not her. She asked to see the video footage that the coffee shop said it had reviewed, but was told that the company's policy is not to let her see it. Her legal team is saying, "The idea that an employer can fire an employee for simply voicing a religious belief after being invited to do so is chilling." That's a good word to use. It is chilling. No employee should have to hide their faith in order to keep their job.
We see right here in the United States of America, the mindset of the end times is emerging, which is either comply with our system or go away. Either get on board with secular humanism or go away. Either worship us or go away. This is the battleground for authority. I know I mention this often to you, dear friends, but it is ground zero in the spiritual warfare that we're seeing today.
The individual wants to be God. The individual says, "I am the focus of worship. It's my life, my dreams, my plans, my goals, my sexuality, my gender, my identity. I get to determine everything. No Bible, no God, no Jesus can tell me what to do. I am the authority." That's why we see such a pushback in today's world, even as Christians like this college student who are just simply trying to make a living, trying to earn some extra money as a college student working in a local coffee shop, and yet you are told to go away because you say that God is the authority. We say that we are the authority.
Well, it's not just happening to college students in the United States of America. In fact, from England to the Vatican, we see some infiltration of lies. Even from Roman Catholics themselves, they're pushing back on what recently happened as Pope Leo honors the new female pro-abortion Archbishop of Canterbury.
Now, what I want to share with you is from a pro-life Catholic source. I have serious misgivings and serious disagreements with a lot of Catholic theology and how they add so many works to faith. But it's interesting that from Roman Catholic theology, they are pushing back against Pope Leo and his recent attempts to welcome the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Sarah Mullally is the first woman to hold the title of Archbishop of Canterbury, officially entering into that office back in March. And by the way, the Archbishop of Canterbury is the most senior bishop in the Church of England. The Archbishop of Canterbury is seen as the spiritual leader for the global Anglican communion, basically almost the head of the English church, the Church of England, the Anglican church.
This particular woman supports abortion. She champions LGBT initiatives. And Pope Leo recently sent her a congratulatory letter on her new position. This move has stunned a lot of traditional Roman Catholics. According to Catholic reports, "The Pope's letter offers praise, invokes the Virgin Mary as inspiration, and says nothing about the invalidity of Anglican orders, nothing about the grave evil of abortion, nothing about the impossibility of a woman receiving holy orders."
It is ecumenism stripped of truth, unity purchased at the cost of clarity. They went on to say in their reports, "Pope John Paul II was clear the church cannot approve of women's ordination. The Catechism is clear, abortion is a moral evil. But the letter to Mullally reads as if this teaching does not exist. This is not pastoral outreach. It is a scandal and it leaves the faithful wondering what does the Pope actually believe?"
As I said, that comes from a Roman Catholic source. I do not agree with all of that statement and all that it entails. However, I do want you to see how this is helping to set the stage for the biblical end times scenario and how that we see this great push to come together as one. One in our thinking, one in our way of doing things.
As the church is raptured out, the people who are left behind will be the ones who have this mindset, this secular humanistic mindset already in play, and they will easily come into power and have their will done on this earth for a short season of time. I might add, of course, as you know, when Jesus returns at His second coming to Earth with His saints, that He is going to defeat those enemies once and for all, including the Antichrist and all of his cronies.

Now let's get back to more Headlines from the End Times. Well, the Biden era CIA analysis linked motherhood and homemaking to violent extremism. Yes, I had to read that twice and I had to scratch my head and say, "What?" But after the American public witnessed the Department of Justice targeting school board parents during President Joe Biden's term, the Department of Justice lawyers might have been outdone by secretive analysts at the CIA and their hated target.
This is public enemy number one: stay-at-home moms and their organic gardens. Now, a little bit of tongue in cheek there, yes, but thanks to a successful legal fight to obtain the documents, conservative group America First Legal announced recently it had finally obtained the CIA-produced analysis that dates back to 2021.
In that report, the world's top spy agency warned that white women who embrace motherhood and homemaking—and that's a direct quote, "motherhood and homemaking"—are also linked to racially and ethnically violent extremism. The official name of the CIA document is "Women Advancing White Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremist Radicalization and Recruitment."
What a name for a document. Moms, especially you stay-at-home moms, it sounds like you're becoming public enemy number one in certain circles. My goodness, it shows you again the mindset of this age and how when you remove biblical authority, you are left with whatever the person in charge deems is appropriate, deems is correct.
In another story, today is a big day for the European Union's entry and exit system. This is a system that I've been telling you about well over a year now through various means here on Watchman on the Wall. By today, all 29 of the European Union countries involved with this entry and exit system, EES it's referred to, all those 29 countries must have it operational at every border crossing to record the entry of all third-country nationals by collecting their biographical data, facial images, and fingerprints.
Again, more stage setting for the biblical end times scenario. Here's a little bit more details and background into what is happening and how the rollout has been going for the EES system. Quite frankly, it's not been very smooth. Portugal will allow third-country travelers to pre-register for the EU's biometric border scheme, this entry-exit system, through an app developed by some tech companies.
This full EES rollout is here right now. Portugal becomes only the second country following Sweden to offer this Travel to Europe mobile app. So this mobile app will be available at some of the Portugal airports and expanding to other airports in the coming weeks.
That particular platform allows travelers to enter their personal and travel details before they arrive at the border and have to stand in an eternally long line. Once that process is complete, users will receive a QR code that can then be submitted at a self-service border control kiosk. Portugal is one of the European countries that has been severely hit by long lines after introducing this EES system.
It was at the beginning of this year at the Lisbon airport in Portugal that they decided to put the brakes on the EES biometric checks for three months. Passengers were facing at least a seven-hour border delay. Can you imagine that? A seven-hour long line just to get through this system. Why is the EES pushing this so much? Why are they willing to let people wait half a day in a long, long line?
What's the push for all of this? Friends, it's to get that biometric information. I believe that we're soon coming to a global database of all the world's citizens where the information is coalesced into one global digital hub where it has our fingerprint information, our facial recognition information, all of that data on file in a centralized database that way they can track where people are coming, where people are going, where people are staying, what people are doing.
We are quickly moving in that direction. Again, it's more stage setting for the biblical end times scenario. Someone like the Antichrist could grab hold of this technology that's already in place and use it not to give greater freedom or greater access as it's being marketed to people, but to restrict their freedoms, to hold them in, to hold them back, and to really control them and put the clamps down on the people.
Other countries have also reported long lines. It's not just happening in Portugal, especially during the peak travel seasons. But they expect those issues to be a bigger problem now that this is mandated. Today is that massive day that they've been working up to this point, this six-month rollout period.
So all 29 countries must have the EES operational at every border crossing as of today and have to record the entry of all third-country nationals by collecting their biographical data, facial images, and fingerprints. Questions are rising on whether the deadline will be met, and it seems that it probably won't be. The way that things have happened, they've pushed it back, they've pushed it back, they've pushed it back.
The European Commission has allowed EU countries to partially suspend this system but only for 90 days after today. Over the next three months basically they're supposed to finally be totally online with this system. Friends, it shows you the great lengths the world is going to to get this information and to have it in this database. It's not just going to happen in Europe. We have already seen it happening in the United States of America as I've shared on previous episodes.
Let's turn our attention to another story as we wrap up our time together today on Headlines from the End Times. Let's take a look at a brief history of Christian persecution in Iran. Our Christian brothers and sisters in Iran have been suffering greatly and that's really the legacy of the Christian faith in that country. It is one of persecution, one of suffering.
So I'm just urging us, let's be in prayer for our Christian brothers and sisters who are suffering persecution around the globe. I'm talking about countries like Nigeria. I'm talking about countries like Iran, other places around the world where brothers and sisters in Christ are going through difficult days, difficult times.
Christianity has existed in what is called modern-day Iran for nearly 2,000 years. We have seen God do an amazing work through the underground church according to reports that I have seen and read. For supporters of the persecuted Christians worldwide, Iran represents a story of suffering and one of remarkable resilience.
Going back into history, Christianity spread into the region currently called Iran, known as Persia back then, part of the Persian Empire, during the earliest centuries of life after Jesus. By the 3rd century, organized Christian communities existed throughout the Persian Empire. These believers were associated with what later became known as the Church of the East, which played a significant role in the expansion of Christianity across Asia.
In Christian history in Persia, missionaries traveled along the trade routes like the Silk Road carrying the gospel into Central Asia, India, and even as far as into China. Well, as Islam began to spread, and especially in the 7th century, the Islamic conquest of Persia dramatically transformed the religious landscape of the region.
As Islam gradually became the dominant religion, Christians were permitted to remain but were classified as a protected yet subordinate religious minority. Under this system that they established, Christians were allowed to practice their faith but faced restrictions in public religious life and were required, get this, to pay a special tax if they wanted to stay as a Christian in that land under Muslim law.
Then you have to pay a special tax. So this system was a legal arrangement that allowed non-Muslims to live under Islamic governance while accepting certain limitations. Now, fast forward 1979, the Islamic revolution that took place and replaced the monarchy with the Islamic Republic governed by clerical authorities under Shia Islam.
Under this system, Iran's laws are heavily influenced by Islamic jurisprudence, that Shiite law as we know it. And so we see that many Christians have faced severe persecution. Propaganda has spread against some of the Christian community: interrogation, imprisonment, false accusations, and even accusing them of crimes such as spreading propaganda against the regime or acting against national security.
All these have been levied against our brothers and sisters in Christ in Iran. They have been famously arrested and put into prison. There's been discrimination in employment, discrimination in education, and in social life. The human rights organizations have documented restrictions on religious minorities in Iran and the pressure faced by those who convert to it.
That's where the big issue comes in, it's when people begin to convert, let's say from Islam into Christianity. Those seem to be the ones drawing the intense ire of the powers that be in the country of Iran. So I'm just encouraging you, in closing today, let's pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world, especially those in Iran at this difficult time.
Thank you so much for joining me on today's episode of Headlines from the End Times. Until next time, may the Lord bless you and keep you.
