Christians, Politics, And The Cross
We are living in a time when we desperately need to engage our culture with the only message that has any hope of transforming it. As Pastor Lutzer explores various approaches to the relationship between the state and the church, he reminds us that spiritual redemption, not political reformation, is at the heart of God’s agenda. Only the church, not a political party, can bear God’s message to a hurting world. Click below to receive this book for a gift of any amount or call Moody Church Media at 1.800.215.5001.

The Bible gives us direction on how Christians should respond to an antagonistic culture. It also tells us how not to respond. With the Lord’s help, we can live in a godly way in an increasingly godless society.

America has been called a melting pot. But at the same time, our country is filled with conflict. Different religions, different ideologies, different philosophies abound. How can we deal with our nation’s inner conflict?

Behind every turn in Joseph’s life we see God’s hand. And God has a plan for you and for me—a dream He wants to see brought to pass. If your life seems haphazard, be encouraged that God is in control.

It was a long road from a pit in Canaan to a palace in Egypt. For Joseph, God’s dream had been fulfilled. The fate of men and nations depended on one man faithfully living out a dream God had given him. In this story we vividly see the providence of God.

The story of Joseph in Egypt is very dramatic—a former slave rises to power, judging the brothers who sold him into slavery years before. God’s gracious plan was unfolding to save two nations. A dream was indeed coming to pass.
