When You’ve Been Wronged
Conflict in relationships is inevitable, but healing and reconciliation often is not. Time and again we've tried every option and failed, and all we are left with is a load of guilt and pain. Pastor Erwin Lutzer shows how the blessing the Lord gives to those who suffer unjustly is worth the pain involved. He also illustrates the need to leave our broken relationships in the hands of God and move forward in our lives toward freedom. Psalm 90 is an explosion of praise to the God Who always was and always will be. Moses wrote, “From everlasting to everlasting you are God.” The eternal Lord created everything - time, matter, and space. And He fills and surpasses the created universe.

Believers are to give God first place in their lives, running life’s race for no other reason than to express their love for Him. We’re commanded to love God supremely. Everything else takes second place.

Believers in the race of life need to assess their treatment of money. Many of us grip our pocketbooks until our knuckles turn white. But God wants to show us the joy of generosity.

Christians running the race of life frequently get tripped up by matters of money. Whose money is it really? Is it mine, to do with as I please? Or am I merely a steward of it?  Christ has much to say about this topic.

For every Olympic track star, thousands of runners will never make the team. But that’s no reason to give up. Many believers with few talents approach life with a clenched fist rather than an open hand. Let’s offer ourselves to the Lord for His purposes, regardless of our abilities.
May 9, 2016
Although every Christian is not the same in ability, we are equal in our obligation to use our abilities wisely. In Bible times, a talent was a large sum of money. The parable of the talents shows us how to manage what we’ve got – our abilities and our money.
