When You’ve Been Wronged
Conflict in relationships is inevitable, but healing and reconciliation often is not. Time and again we've tried every option and failed, and all we are left with is a load of guilt and pain. Pastor Erwin Lutzer shows how the blessing the Lord gives to those who suffer unjustly is worth the pain involved. He also illustrates the need to leave our broken relationships in the hands of God and move forward in our lives toward freedom. Money always tests God’s people. The love of money can turn our hearts away from God. In this message, we notice three changes which must take place to be free of the love of money: a change of heart, of ownership, and of perspective. Change only happens when we give our selfishness away.

The world may be filled with chaos and difficulty, but a heart stayed on God’s Word can overcome. Joshua meditated on the Law as he prepared to lead the nation of Israel into Canaan. Some believe the purpose of life is to work, earn money, and retire. Why is it that God is oftentimes not the center of our lives? In this message, we meet the Samaritan woman who was forever changed as she learned the true meaning of worship. There is no other purpose to life.

At the Last Supper, Jesus served the bread and cup as pictures of His coming sacrifice. Throughout church history, this ordinance has taken many forms and spurred much debate. In this message, we look back, look forward, and even look inward through reflecting on this sacred act. Since faith in Christ alone saves, all who believe can partake.

The ordinances of the church are important marks of obedience. Christ commanded that we practice them as outward symbols of His inner work in our lives. In this message, we consider how Baptism identifies us with our Savior in His death and resurrection. What is the connection between Baptism and our repentance?
