In all of history, no one has ever manifested the authority Jesus had. People were either drawn to Him, or they wanted to kill Him. Even today, when encountering the real Jesus there is still no middle ground. Why is that?

Real miracles include raising the dead, feeding the five thousand, and turning water into wine—the kind of miracles Jesus did to prove He was sent from God. Jesus was a man whose claims to be God were validated by His miracles.

Seeing ourselves as clay in the potter’s hand helps us to avoid believing the myth that we are in control. We frequently don’t like the stresses of being shaped by God. However, as the Potter, God is in charge, and He has a purpose we cannot see. His purpose will take us through the fire so that, one day, we will come out as gold. Many believers have never seen themselves as clay on a potter’s wheel, being molded to suit the Potter’s purposes. But the sooner we understand this truth, the sooner we’ll be fruitful members of the body of Christ, serving and loving both God and others.

Jesus sets us free from the compulsion to sin, and we must be diligent to avoid situations that might cause us to fall back into old patterns of behavior. In this message we take a final look at overcoming daily sins.
