The Legal and Vital Work of Salvation Part 30: "Shall We Continue in Sin?" — A Misread Verse, Corrected
Does Romans 6 really ask, "should we continue TO sin"? Dr. Abel Damina points out a detail easy to miss: the verse actually reads "continue IN sin" — and he walks through several other frequently misread passages, including Philippians 2:12's "walk out" (not "work for") your salvation, and Hebrews 10's "adversaries," which refers to gospel-rejecters, not believers. In this message from Reintroducing Jesus, Beyond Religion, Dr. Damina models the kind of careful, in-context reading that changes how several familiar verses about sin and security should be understood.
